Booking a studio with cash through DVC question

Got SSR booked with points for March 31-April 3rd. Was thinking about booking the 3rd-4th, but no rooms are available with points. So I was thinking about going through Disney with cash. I was wondering if I would get a discount on a studio through DVC discount with Disney on that room, or is that only for members who are eligible for the perks of DVC?

Call and ask. The cash studio you see on Disney's site may not be eligible for the DVC discount regardless.

You'll need to book those nights using MS for a cash reservation to maybe get a member discount. It's not always available. If you book through Disney Reservation Center, there is no DVC discount.

Ok. I am going to keep stalking the rat hoping that the 3rd-4th will open up to get with one time use points. That is the cheapest price anyway. If it will happen.
