When you all make reservations over the web for the Universal resorts, do you fill in the number of people that are staying in the room?
The reason I asked is I was just checking the prices and I forgot to put in the number of people we will have in the room. A Garden View room came up for a FAN Club rate (I do have a card) for only $202. I was ecstatic! I then realized that I had not put in the number of people sharing the room. Of course the price went up then.
I just wonder how many people made that mistake when booking a room over the net? What happened when you go to check in and you have more people? Is the original rate still honored? We already have a room booked at PBR. Had this originally happened to me, it would be an honest mistake.
Also, I have been told that the FAN Club cards are no longer being used. So why do they have the rate listed?
