Booking a resort only reservation through a third party and adding the dining plan separately?

Hi everyone!

You guys are all awesome and so helpful so I figured you could help with this!

I am switching my reservation to the Poly but found a good deal through a third party site that allows me to use some credit card points towards the cost. If I book a room only reservation through a third party, can I add the dining plan separately through Disney? I already have separate tickets so our package was a "ticketless package" to begin with. I have searched around but unable to find anything on this subject.

No, you can't add dining separately through Disney when booking through a third-party site (Orbitz, Expedia, etc.). If you booked room-only through the site, you did not book a package, you just booked a room.
