Booking a Memories Collection Wedding

Ok. . .so, today I called DFTW and talked to Doug (?) about the Memories collection.

I asked when I could book and he said that the official booking could not be done until the 6 month mark. However, I should try back in about a month (my 7 month mark) to get the ball running.

So, I'm trying to budget and save and have a few questions about booking my required stay:

1. Can I book our resort stay now or at least before my 6-month mark?
2. How long of a stay do I need to book (2 or 4 nights) for the Memories Collection?
3. If I book a room only, I only have to pay a deposit equal to one nights stay, correct?
4. If any AP discounts (for the room) come up between now and our wedding, can we have those applied to our reservation?

Sorry about the long post, I just want to make sure to have the money saved I need when I need it!

Yes! I would do it as soon as possible, since you'll need to have proof of your stay to confirm your date at 6 months. Then you can always adjust your reservation later when discounts come out.

2 nights

Yes

4. If any AP discounts (for the room) come up between now and our wedding, can we have those applied to our reservation?

Yes, although technically they would make you a new reservation and cancel the old one, but it works out the same.
