Booking a hotel room questions

Is it too early to book a room at Disney for mid Jan 2006? I am assuming I book a room and upgrade or change if a code comes out later.

I am just nervous for our trip and want to make sure we at least have a room a while. TIA!

You can book now but I don't believe the 2006 rack rates are out yet. They will base your deposit on the 2005 nightly rate.
