What would you do if when booking a flight the airline is not yet accepting bookings for the return portion of your trip? Would you make two one way bookings as the date are released or wait until both legs are available.
For example: Jet blue is now only accepting reservations through Jan 8. Lets say your trip ran from 1/8 - 1/15. Do you book for the 8th and then the 15th when this becomes available or take a chance that your preferred flight for the 8th may not be available when the 15th is released?
Some airlines charge a higher fare for one way travel, or they used to as far as I know. Do Jet Blue or Southwest (these are the two airlines I am considering for a trip in Aug 2007) charge more if you purchase one way rather than round trip?
