Booking 1st DVC

Just passed ROFR for an SSR purchase. We're waiting for our closing paperwork. We are over planners and were looking at date options for a fall trip this year. We have two kids in school so there's the balance of minimal time off from school and total points cost for the trip. We were looking at dates around and after Thanksgiving and noticed that you could end up with 3 different points seasons for a 1 week trip depending on the days. I manually added up the cost for each day for the locations considered but that took forever.

So my question is does the online tool calculate points before you commit? Can I click around with dates and locations to see the total points spend up front?

I guess we're just anxious, I'll find out soon enough, but I'd like to convince the wife that I can stop creating all of these spreadsheets to calculate the cost of a trip. We like to play the what if game, by moving dates and locations around.

If you want to just check point requirements, here's a good one. It defaults to $, so make sure you click the 'Show Point Amount' button.

The booking tool on the member website will show you point requirements before you actually commit to booking the room.
