Finally, we've decided to book New York.

If anyone else out there was deliberating between New York and Sequoia, you might get a big shock with the prices. For our dates, the Sequoia is actually over a hundred pounds more expensive than the New York. And for the first time ever, using the Dream discount dropped another £20.

I couldn't be happier - couldn't decide between the two but the changes in the pricing made the decision easy.

Roll on Christmas.....

great news Lucy, we noticed a big difference when we were doing dummy pricings last week but it didnt cover our dates. We still saved a good bit and got to upgrade to Lake View at SL!! Wont be long coming around, happy planning!

Thanks - the planning is (almost) as much fun as being there. Although I do tend to stress so much about making the perfect itinerary that I end up with no itinerary at all just in case it's the wrong one!

You'll love the Sequoia Lodge - it was a close fought battle for us having stayed at both hotels before. We'll probably mosey around there for a cocktail (or 2) by the big fire. And we're still including their restaurant in our shortlist.

Great that you got a Lake View - the lights at night around the lake are so lovely.

We'll be there for the last bonfire fireworks so hopefully (room view permitting!) we can watch it from the room if its chilly!

Have you been in the new Disney Store yet? Got DD some Minnie trainers which were €5 in the sale plus I got an extra 50c off with Shareholders. You could spend an absolute fortune in minutes!

Im so looking forward to being sat at the fire with a yummy cocktail. That €25 cocktail looks like a challenge!!

Love the planning too. So impatient waiting for the programme to be released though and I know what you mean about throwing out the itinery! Mines been rewritten too many times already! What date are you off?

The most frustrating thing about planning is how slow Disney are in publishing opening hours, timetables etc. How are you supposed to know what time to book meals for if you don't know what time the parks close, for example.

We go on the 23rd Dec so no fireworks for us - unless I take on that €25 cocktail!

No Disney Store shopping allowed - need my pennies for a blow-out Xmas.

Lol same as that! I suggested visiting the Disney Store the day before we leave and DP looked at me like I was a lunatic. He also wanted to know if I thought we'd have any spending money left for DLP. He knows me too well

I read on DLRP magic that news/info on Christmas should be released soon. Also Santa, Belles Christmas Village, Mickeys Winter Wonderland show and a few other bits are confirmed and I also read about a special hub show with Aurora!!
