Yay!!!! I've payed a big down payment and can't wait. We're going to MNSSHP and Party for the Senses!

YAY! My mom and I are going to be at the Poly Oct 1-7, what days are you going to Party for the Senses and MNSSHP?? We are doing the PFTS on 10/6 and MNSSHP on 10/4 (assuming there will be one that night)! If you are going to the PFTS, we should try and meet at a table! I am hoping a few Disers will be there that night- a Dis table would be so much fun I think!!

That sounds like a great plan. We're definately going to the PFTS on the 6th, but I think we'll try for MNSSHP on the 1st.

Yay! We will have to keep in touch as the trip gets closer so we can arrange a meeting at PFTS! By the way, your kids are adorable in that pic :goodvibes

Thanks. Sometimes they even act cute.:rotfl2: Maybe at some point we should start a thread just for dis'ers going to that PFTS. That way we can have a big ol' group to intimidate everyone else(just kidding, of course:lmao: )

Well hey! I'm booked 10/2-10/9 and we specifically planned our trip to coincide with the Food and Wine Festival, but ahem.....excuse my ignorance puleez, what does MNSSHP stand for?

Are you taking your kids to any of these events or having a night out w/out the kids?

Thanks!!

Melissa

p.s. My husband and I would love to have a night out by ourselves, but I'm not sure at their ages if they would do well with a babysitter. Thats why I ask, because if we do a special activity it will have to involve kids, but I'm not sure if those events would be recommended with kids.

Our kids will be 2 and 4 at the time and we will probably use one of the services like Kid's Nite Out so we can go to the PFTS. I have heard really good things about them or I would never leave my kids. They have never stayed with anyone except a close friend or relative but are really outgoing so I think they will be fine for an evening. The F & W festival has all of the booths at Epcot that you can try out foods and wines from all over as you walk around. How old are your kids? If they are over 4 you can use the child care centers at the resorts.

We've never done MNSSHP, but I think most kids would love it. It is at the Magic Kingdom and you do have to buy a separate ticket but from what I have heard, it is worth the extra money. They have alot of info on it and the Food and Wine Festival if you go to the "Events" section on the Dis homepage.

I was just thinking this same thing, and I am of course all for it!! I just love PFTS but it will be my mom's first time! It sure would be great to have other trustworthy people at our table so we could watch each other's stuff while going to get food. I have heard stories of people's seats being snatched right up, even with jackets and programs on the chairs.

Man, I'll be pretty P.O'd if we pay that much $$$ and can't even find a place to sit. I can't believe they would sell more tix than they have seats for.

We went in 2005 and had no problem getting seats, but I have heard some horro stories--- safety in numbers seems good though:rotfl2:
