We are going to DW in September at the same time as some friends, and I have booked the entire package. We have the same confirmation #, but two parties on that number. We have both received emails stating payments, so I know we are both paid in full. My question/concern is that they have gotten Disney mail 4 times, and we haven't gotten anything.....nothing. :confused3 This is their first trip and our 8th, so I don't know if that is why or what the deal is, but I want Disney mail!!!! Has anyone else booked like this before and did both parties get mail or just one??? I am thinking about calling and seeing what they say, but don't want to sound whiny. ;)

Just curious if others have gone through this.

Thanks!!!

Are you in the same room? Or are you all staying in the same villa at DVC????

If so, there is one lead person and the lead person gets the mail.

You say you have the same confirmation no.; that throws me off.

I traveled with friends last year, but we were in two separate rooms with two separate confirmation nos.

We are in 2 separate rooms at Pop and my name is on both reservation invoices as "Attn," so that might mean I am the lead person. They have each of our addresses on our invoice, but we have the same reservation number and different "Agency" (not sure what that is) numbers.

Hmm, you booked and paid for both ressies? What kind of mail are you talking about? Looking forward to seeing you xxx family? magical express?

Not saying I know what's going on, but back a few years I booked and paid for 2 rooms, one for my family and one for my Dad who did not live with us. Used my email for both ressies but different names and addresses for who was staying in the rooms. Since then all mail (except if it pertains to a specific reservation) comes to my address or email with my Dad's name

Disney does not allow you to be the lead person on two reservations on the same week. You have two separate reservations and they will each go to the addresses of the lead person

You are referring to an invoice, not your actual original reservation. If you paid both reservations, then the invoice will indicate your info.

You need to back to the ressie paperwork. It would be worth a call; Disney mail usually arrives 30 days in advance and ME is 45 days.

Many people assume you get the packages soon as you pay it off; that is not the case with Disney.

Yes, I called and made the reservation and paid for both reservations and all the correspondence has been emailed to my email address. The reservation invoices that I have printed off say:

Subject: Invoice -- Reservation (our number)

Then below the blue line that says Walt Disney Travel Company it says:

Invoice
Client #: # (Same number as our reservation number above)
Agency: This number is different on the two papers.

But both have the same reservation number on them.

We are driving so no Magical Express and so far they haven't gotten the paperwork that states how many are coming and when and has the coupons, etc... They have just gotten some fun stuff...looking forward to seeing you, the little booklet about Pop Century, etc. I know it isn't important paperwork, but we LOVE getting Disney mail too, and I am beginning to worry all our paperwork will go to them.

I may just need to call to make sure things are okay. Sounds like though from what Tink415 says that this is normal.....:(

I pulled up the original reservation emails and they have each of our addresses, but they have Attn: my name on both.

If they are room-only reservations, you won't get Mickey mail (with the souvenir luggage tags, etc.).

The only other piece of mail would be DME, but if you didn't set it up because you're driving, you wouldn't receive that packet either.

If you did not book ME, you will not get that.

Package material comes at 30 days, so you are too early.

Yea, you can't be the lead person for more than 1 room, but you can make ressies and pay for more than 1 room, and it causes some hiccups in the regular flow of things for whatever reason.

It sounds like the other party going with you received the 'Looking forward to seeing you xxx family' or 'Welcome back xxx family' letter with a small folder that has resort description and other things to look forward to at WDW. I've gotten that mail with room only for sure; can't recall for sure if I also received it with a package, but I think so. Maybe Disney has changed when and to whom they send that particular mail? Just a guess! And I'm doubtful ressie CMs will be helpful in getting that item mailed/mailed again.

It sounds like you have a package since your expecting coupons and the paperwork you say they haven't gotten yet (# people). Those sound like what you get with a package reservation. If your friend gets the package 'stuff' in the mail and you don't, call and ask why and what to do.

It'll all work out! Here's some pixiedust: and :mickeyjum:mickeyjum
