booked with dreams unlimited????

Hi I booked with dreams months ago in a cat 11 now the fl rates come out and it is cheaper for me (saving a couple hundred dollars with a upgrade from a 11 to 9). The problem is dreams say the only thing left are cat5's. That was yesterday today i call disney and book 2 rooms for family in cat 9 and was told that there are still alto of cat 9 lefts. I just don't understand. I feel so cheated that i paid more for a cat 11 then 9. Has anyone else had this happen before?

no, well not yet Maybe it was a miss communication between DUL .
maybe DUL has a different block of rooms, i am not sure. If you dont feel comfortable with DUL , i would not deal with them anymore. i am glad you got what you wanted thru DCL.

the only thing i am still confused on, i paid with my DV and DV is giving $50 on board ship credit, according to DUL i cant get that because DUL is giving me a on board ship credit and i was told im only aloud one on board ship credit.
i have read several people got to use several on board ship credit, i confused

Tink, email your agent about the category--it could be that when your agent called only the cat 5 was open, but they may have opened other categories. If you have any trouble with that, email john@dreamsunlimitedtravel.com

wdwstar--you are only able to get one stateroom credit per cabin (or discounted offer.) DCL does not allow for multiple discounts or offers. If you already have a stateroom credit (or a discounted group rate) you cannot combine the Disney Visa offer. This is DCL's policy not Dreams Unlimited's policy.

Yes it is DCL policy, and TAs have no control over that. I know it kind of blows, but thems the rules.

WOW i got an email from dreams and i am in cat 9 saved $245..... They are sooo good. I was thinking that it was going to be some hassle but not at all. Ta told me at the time the fr came out the only thng was a cat 5... Now i have to book two more rooms for mom and dad and the inlaws... THANKS DREAMSUNLIMITED :

I am glad it worked out for you, i have not heard anything bad about DUL and that is why i thought it was just a miss communication. On my cruise i am planning on booking on the cruise and when i get home ill transfer it to DUL, i really enjoy there service. As far as the ship credit, well i understand it now, thanks!

So if I paid with my Disney VISA and also got the "up to $200 off" deal when booking with DU, am I entitled to a $50 onboard credit? Or does one have nothing to do with the other?

I had booked thru DUL and i recieved $200 off the rate and a $100 on board credit. I paid with my DV and disney only lets you get one on board credit, as my understanding. Even though DUL was the one that gave me the $100 on board credit.

Just got everyhting taken care of with du.. They went ahead and booked my other two rooms which turned out cheaper then i thought because of the rebates. Now all our rooms are cat 9 gt does anyone know when we will find out what rooms we are in? I will do the same and book on the ship then will then transfer to du. They are the BEST.......

When we upgraded with FRR the other day, Tammy from DU, said in about 3 weeks we might know.
