Booked through Jet Blue..can I add the dining plan?

I made a last minute reservation through Jet Blue's kids fly free offer. I've only booked the air & hotel but will need to add park tix. Can I add the dining plan to my reservation? Would I need to do that through Jet Blue or can I call Disney directly?

Dining Plans may only be added to a Walt Disney Travel Company (or DVC) package. As such, any 3rd party agency that does not book a package through WDTC cannot book dining plans.

In short, most likely not.

I'm afraid that with the way your packsge was booked, you won't be able to do so directly through WDW Travel Co.

You must book a full package (room-tickets-dining) through your third-party agent (JetBlue, in your case). Your reservation is "owned" by them, not by you - you cannot make changes without going through them.

I know Southwest sells packages through their vacations affiliate that can include dining - you might call JetBlue and see if they can switch you from room-only (WDW doesn't count your air and sees you as a "room-only" reservation rather than a package) to a full package - but this will require not only the additional charges for the dining plan, but also that you purchase tickets as part of the package at the same time, since Disney requires a full package (minimum room-tickets) before you are able to add dining. Crystal clear, isn't it?

Your only chance if you are keeping the original reservation through JetBlue (to take advantage of the airfare promtion) is to contact them and see if they can switch you to a full package.
