Booked the flights

Thanks Kathryn.

No, I didn't do Netflights. With the dummy bookings I tried last night with various dates (still have to wait a week for CO flights to be released for my dates) once I put the flights into my cart, the price jumped by over £100 each time. :confused3 CO was cheaper. I couldn't find out what timezone they work on so I checked at midnight, 1 am and set my alarm for 5 to every hour until 5 am when my dates opened up. I wasn't kidding when I said once I set my mind on something, that's it! :rotfl2: 97 p credit available on the credit card though and it happens to be the day before the next statement cut off so it will be due at the end of the month :rolleyes1
well done Lee I knew when you had booked your accomodation the flights would soon be booked as I think doing a DIY you were a bit worried.

I am so pleased about it though. I knew the route, times and price I wanted and it's about knowing yourself. I would not have been relaxed sitting it out and hoping for a good sale in the months to come.
You have done the right thing for you.How much did you pay in the end?

Ours have gone up more than £100 since I booked and there is no way my nerves would have held.

I am very pleased for you and have finally found someone more obsessively organised than me - setting the alarm through the night :scared1: But that is a good thing!!

I didn't have a big enough credit limit (even with nothing on the card) to book for the five of us next year, thankfully my cousin did!!! I only have £2400 on mine - must look at it again.

They were under £1050. Even better that I don't have to pay for domestic flights to get to another UK airport. :)

Ha! I had to set the alarm. :lmao: I was watching the others every day, first thing in the morning and then later in the day and they were all increasing in price. I wasn't going to miss it. The ones I booked had also gone up by dinner time but I knew they probably would have. If prices didn't come down later and I hadn't booked, there was a risk I would have to change my accommodation dates and I specifically moved the trip a week earlier because it shaved quite a lot off the overall cost by starting in September, not October.

So now I have the trip booked, have the flights booked and got my US reservation number (which I have tested to make sure I can call up my reservation on the US site). Now there is almost 5 months for DD to pick a character meal and a FEW ADRs to make. Only one character meal next year. We will do a few other restaurants but I think no more than 3 TS. DD would also like to do MNSSHP again but those can be booked anytime.

That's dedication for you - glad you got the flights at a good price.

Thanks! :) I was so desperate to go back next year. Not sure what happened this last time but I really struggled to leave Orlando this year. Before we left I had really wanted to save for a bit longer and go to the Poly for half our stay the following Easter. But DD begged me (and offered all her pocket money to help :flower3:) if we could go back next year. What's a mother to do? :rotfl2:
