Booked the flight and hotel last night for our Feb. cruise. This will be our first cruise.

Flying in the day before. We decided to spend an extra couple hundred dollars to be able to leave mid morning instead of early morning or get in late at night.....So we leave Minneapolis at 9:00 and arrive at MCO at 1:30. What time do you think we will get to the Cape (will will take a towncar - as yet unbooked)?

Flying out the day we come in. Flight is at 2:55 (once again, paid a little more because the other options were before 1:00 or at 7:00 at night ). A nearly 3pm flight should give us plenty of time, right? What time do we want the towncar to pick us up?

If you arrive at MCO at 1:30, by the time you get from the gate to the terminal and get your luggage, it will most likely be around 2:00. If they pick you up then, it's only about 50 - 60 minutes to the port area from MCO, so you should be there around 3:00.

As for going back, you must leave the ship by 8:30 or 9:00, so I would choose a time around then for them to pick you up. You will have more than enough time to make a 3:00 flight.

When we went last September, our flight was at 3:00 and we got a day room at the MCO Hyatt so we could go to the pool and have some place to relax. We went into the airport, picked up lunch and took it back to the room to eat. It worked out great and was well worth the $60.
