I booked the campgrounds for Nov 17th to Nov23rd

I have tickets for all 7 days.

I know check in is 1 pm do they have a parking area if you get there early? Also a parking area if we are not ready to leave on the last day.. I am not sure on check out time. But I am sure we would like to go to the park again on the 23rd.

I have a 27ft travel trailer.

Yes, there is overflow parking for both of these occasions! You can arrive/leave and enjoy your park tickets for the day. When you arrive the over flow lot is a short walk to the area where the buses pick you up to go to the parks. Enjoy and have fun!

I believe check out time is 11am. So yes use the overflow parking to enjoy the parks on your last day!

I might be wrong, but in addition to the option of using overflow parking after you check out, I think you can can park in the theme park lots for free as a resort guest if that is more convenient to depart directly from there at the end of the day. I know parking is free for an auto...so maybe not with the travel trailer. Hopefully someone else can answer that.

Also, when you arrive there is the possibility your site will be available before 1pm. Not sure how early you are thinking, but when you check in upon arrival maybe some magic awaits you and you will be able to go straight to your site. That has happened to us before.

Thanks we are not sure what time we are getting there we are leaving on the 16th from sc and plan to hit the big outlet in St Augustine. We are planning on stay somewhere on the drive down on the 16th. Does anyone know of any good campgrounds around St Augustine we could use for the night? Maybe even before St Augustine.

You can definitely use the overflow lot. And I think with your dates you'll be fine. I can tell you, though, that when we were there during Thanksgiving week last year, the overflow lot was a zoo on the weekend after Thanksgiving. We have a 45' motorhome, and there is no way we could have gotten it into the overflow lot. There was probably enough room, it's just that a number of people are less than considerate (and intelligent) in the way they park. We had to block the buses and pull our utility trailer out of the overflow lot by hand and hook it up on the road leading out of the campground.

In the past we have always just driven to whichever park we wanted to go to with camper in tow. Since we were resort guests parking was free even with the camper. The lot attendants will direct you all the way to a parking row end and have you park perpendicular to the spaces so it will be easy for you to just pull out at the end of the day. We like doing this cause at the end of the day we can just hop in the truck and go rather than mess with bus rides back to the Fort.

Google Faver Dykes SP. It's a couple exits past the outlets but the rates are reasonable. I would not park in the overflow on departure day. The buses back to the fort can take up to an hour including waiting for it. The fort is the red headed step child when it comes to transportation. They will park you for free like the pp said. We used to only go to DHS on the last day because they parked you close to where the buses drop you off but the last couple times I noticed that's no longer done.

You can, of course, also check in at whatever time you arrive and then drive to your desired park instead of using the overflow... just like what's been suggested for your departure date. We travel with pets, so if we were to leave them in the moho with the generator and AC running, we'd want to be able to check on them during the day, which is easier to do if they are in the parking lot, versus a couple of bus rides away!

You've gotten some good answers, but I just want to point out (for anyone else that might be reading and considering this) about the kennels.

We slept at a rest area the night before so had a short drive in the following morning. After checking in, we were directed to the over flow lot. I had plans of riding bikes around the campground after I checked the dogs into the kennels. To my surprise, they didn't have any openings - and I never once thought about making reservations as we planned to keep our pets with us while camping.

So, if any of you are traveling with pets and plan to check in early and use the park or campground facilities - consider making reservations for that day with the kennels.

Are you sure about this? Granted I haven't used the kennels since we moved here but it was always first come first serviced..a ressie wasn't taken? Has this changed?
