Finally! It is 30 days prior (we want to do the tour on Dec. 7th) and I could call this morning and book our reservations! It was a big expense for our family of five, but I think it will be worth it. I can't wait to see the parade from an actual chair and see all the Christmas cheer Disneyland has to offer:wizard:

Here is the information if anyone else is interested. Thanks for the help about this subject provided on this board!

We just booked ours on Oct 30 for our trip .... I can't wait either. The best part is the great seats for the parade without the 2 hour sitting around waiting to get the curb seats. :woohoo:

Is it better to do a tour on a busy day or a slower day?

Hey LisainCalifornia,

We are taking the Holiday Tour on the 7th to @ 4pm. What time are you going?

Wow! We are going on the 4:00 tour too!;) I will be on the lookout for you! I am Lisa (blonde) and my husband is Mike (dark hair). We have three kids. What do you look like?

Sunobo, I don't think it matters much if you take the tour on a busy or slow day--but on a REALLY busy day it may be hard to walk around.

Take care,
Lisa

Ooh, that looks so cool! But, wow, definitely pricey. Eeek. I am sure it is worth it, but I don't know if I can justify it to my husband. :sad1:

Hey Lisa,

I am about 5 feet 6 inches tall, I have dark brown short hair and I will be with my mom and my two girls, their picture is on my signature page so just look for them and you should find us.

Looking forward to seeing you there, its fun meeting someone from this board now we can put a face to the comments. See you soon.

Aloha Zena

I would do it on the busy day. That way you have something planned to keep you from being in all the long lines!

We did the tour in December 2006. Loved it! Yep, having a reserved seat to watch the parade was the best part.... well except for the hot chocolate and gingerbread cookie. They were really yummy and I don't even like gingerbread. (My husband and I decided that being at Disneyland definetly makes things taste better!)
