Booked our 3rd DCL cruise

Well, I guess we're going again. I just paid our deposit for the Jan. 2, 2003 3 day Wonder cruise. This is the 1st time we've paid cash, the other 2 times we used DVC points. (talk about sticker shock) We got stateroom 5522 cat 10. It'll be our 1st porthole since we always went cat 10 and never got the secret porthole. I'm sure the outsides and verandas are nice but we are never in the stateroom very long. The split bath is a must though.
We could have done Carnival for about $800 less but they don't seem to have a private island, the staterooms look terriable on the web and the ship doesn't look as spectacular as DCL ships. Plus, there's no Disney magic. Another fun trip....can't wait....spruce

Secret Porthole! How WONDERful!

How cool...you will enjoy the secret porthole room! We often book those...I ADORE the verandahs, but like you say, there's so much to do that you don't spend a lot of time in the stateroom anyway (although when we do a verandah, I always make some time). I hope your weather in Jan. 2003 is as nice as it was for us last weekend.

I'll have to wave at you as we get off the ship on January 2, 2003. Doesn't seem quite so far away when other happy cruisers start to talk about it It will be our first Disney Cruise Vacation. Let's hope the weather is fine!!
