Okay, I have never used the dining plan before. We booked air/hotel/car through Expedia and are staying at POP. I don't have tickets yet either. Is it possible to add tickets and dining plan when we check in????

Thank you so much for any help!!!

P.S. We are doing LTT, 1900, CP, Coral Reef, Mama Melrose, Donalds B-fast, Boma. If possible, is this a smart move?

Not sure if you can add the DDP. I thought you have to book a package in order to add it on. Or if your a DVC'er like me you can just add it to your reservation. As for the tickets you can buy they seperately or book a package with tickets included.

No, you can't. The Disney Dining Plan is available ONLY:
ºOº as part of an entire Disney package (room and tickets) with the entire package paid in full in advance, or
ºOº with advance notice IF one is staying in a Disney Vacation Club property using DVC points, with payment made on arrival.

yes unfortunately im pretty sure it cant be added on, which i think is a bummer, but i guess that is how they get you to buy a full package. I did once get the dining plan on expedia but that was the first fall they offered it for free so it was included in my expedia package. heads up for a future booking you can book a discounted package with dining plan through AAA if you are a member, it is not as simple as expedia, and unfortunately you do have to talk to a real person! hehe but it wasnt all that bad, i just did it. good luck and have fun on your trip!

The Dining Plan can only be added-on by the company/entity that originally booked the vacation, subject to availability and subject to the rules of the original booking. Unless it is a DVC points reservation, admission purchase is always required to be part of the package. Also, it needs to be added on prior to check-in (typically they indicate it must be added on at least three days prior).

Thanks. Yes, I ended up having to call Expedia and WDW, and it turns out that I would have to rebook my room through WDW to get the dining plan, which obviously isn't possible since I already paid for it. Expedia doesn't offer the dining plan.

Live and Learn!! It was an impulse decision to book the trip - and I'm just so excited to be going that I'm not going to let it bother me!! Princess/Pirate party on the 22nd and my dd's 6th b-day on the 19th - we can't wait!!!
:dance3:

So that's a firm confirmation then: Expedia doesn't offer the Dining Plan, period. Okay, that might qualify as a FAQ. Does anyone know about any other of the large travel websites that either does or doesn't offer the Dining Plan? Travelocity, for example?

That is right, they do NOT offer the plan. And they is no way to add it on through Disney.
