Our 22nd anniversary was actually in June, but we are going in December. Due to a bunch of "stuff", we never really celebrated our 20th, 21st or 22nd anniversaries.

I'd like to make this a special meal for DH - any ideas? We've never been to Narcoosees and although I've looked at the cake thread, nothing really comes to mind. If you're a Narcoosees vet, could you please provide me some suggestions? We will be on the Dining plan, but I don't mind paying extra for something special. (There will be 3 of us - me, DH, and DD-15)

Thanks in advance!!!

Just ate there on our 25th back in April. Make sure you tell them it's your Anninversary. They will have the menus with your name on it . Also you can ck with them cause the GF has it's own bakery maybe they can make up something sepcial for you. Ck out the Cake thread on page 1 for the phone #.
Happy Anninversary!

right - we go to Narcoosees every year for our Aniversary. . .they print a special menu that says "Happy Anniversary Mr and Mrs XXX" on the top.

We always have a special small cake made to resemble our wedding cake.

We love narcoosees so much! You can go up to the lounge on the second floor of the main building at the Grand and have a pre-dinner cocktail. They have a live instrumental band just outside the lounge.

The electric water pageant comes by between 9:00 and 9:30 - and that's fun to watch. You can see it from Narcoosees or the boat dock. You can also go over to the patio area outside of Gasparillas - get a bottle of wine - and sit and watch the fireworks over Magic Kingdom!

We told them it was our anniversary and they had a special menu. the cakes from the gf bakery are spectacular. you can even have a mini one with a small castle or mickey ehad on top (call the GF bakery to inquire).

Another thing which I think is a cute idea is have a bottle of Fairytale cuvee and some choc covered strawberries brought to the table after dinner. i am sure if you call they can set that up as a suprise.

Also this is waaaaay more money but what about a wishes cruise with a cke or strawberries served on the boat during whishes?

we're going to narcoosees to celebrate our anniversary and will order ahead for a mini castle cake (in addition to the almond crusted cheesecake!)

Thanks for the encouragement - keep the suggestions coming, as we're going just before Christmas. I have our ADR but didn't mention the anniversary, so I will make sure to do that.

The strawberries look really wonderful, DD and I both liked the look of those. Rather than a Wishes cruise, I set our time to try and make sure we'll see Wishes from the restaurant. We've never done that, but we saw the Electrical Water Pageant quite a few times when we camped at the Fort in 2005. (If you haven't seen it, take the time - it's really really cute)

Last year we had a nice dinner at Narcossee's then did the Wishes cruise and it was truely one of our top Disney memories.

I had ordered a bottle of wine and a dessert selection, our driver took us around the lake and gave us some history that even I didn't know. We got to see the ELWP then Wishes with a nice front view of the castle.

I believe if you mention it's your anniversary they will dress up the table with some mini mickey confettii.

Have a nice time! :)

I was so excited to see your thread because we ate there on our honeymoon 16 years ago and I can't wait to go back someday without children to celebrate at the same place. I'll have to save the ideas that you get so that I can surprise my DH on our 25th! Hope you have a MAGICAL anniversary....and congratulations...not many make it that far. :cheer2:
