Booked my Dec 2010 trip!

I am still planning for Dec 2010 trip but have not had time to set details of which exact days and how long. We will be driving out, figure with a 8 yr old and 19 month old at that time, taking our time will be better. We are planning to arrive at WDW around the 10th and staying prior to Christmas then switching to Vero Beach during Christmas holidays then driving back home. However I am undecided about driving close to New Years Eve. We want to stay in Fl thru 29th since that is our 15th annv. How bad is the park crowds around the 22nd to 23rd? How bad is the traffic around the holidays in FL? Do you think this would be too long with a 19 month old? I have never took a small child. My daughter was around 3 when she 1st went. My son on the other hand seems less laid back than my daughter. He has more energy and may enjoy the parks and activity. Are any of you guys having trouble booking at this point. We own at SSR (which I know is larger and more likely to get ressie). Any advise. Thanks
