booked last night going in 4 weeks!!!!!

hello everyone

we noticed some cheap flights with tcd £900 for 5 of us contacted ds school who said yes he could have the time off school-they will provide him with homework to take.Cant believe we are going back, we fly out 1 dec.We have never done the xmas party at disney or a disney illuminations cruise has anyone done these would you say they are a must?

That sounds like an excellent deal from TCD. We are looking at going back in January with TCD - nothing booked as yet. We did Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP) in 2002. At that time you got free hot chocolate & a cookie. You also got a free photograph. We didn't do any rides, just watched the shows which were very good. As far as I can remember, there is also a parade - not sure about fireworks. I would recommend going to MVMCP to anyone! As for the Illuminations cruise - if you have not already booked this, you will probably struggle to get one as they tend to be snapped up fast.

For something a bit different, why not go around some of the Disney resorts and look at the Christmas decorations. Don't forget the Osborne Family Lights at MGM.

Wow - That sounds more like the holidays I usually book - right at the last minute. We are going to WDW Aug 07 and booked it in September - I have never had to wait this long for a booked holiday - I am so excited already!

thats what we did but back in jan 06 its going to be great !!
we had to ask for extra work for our ds too lol but its xmas time don't think they will give him anything.

Apparently they do sleigh rides at this time of the year (Wilderness Lodge or Fort Wilderness I think)
