I need some advice! DH and I booked a trip for September, bringing along DD and MIL. We were covering all costs and booked free dining. We found out yesterday that MIL must have immediate surgery and will not be able to travel with us. We didn't purchase any travel insurance because of Disney's lenient cancellation policy. The thing is, we don't want to cancel the whole trip, just her spot. Do you think they'll let us remove her from the hotel room/ticket package while still retaining our discounted booking or will we need to rebook the entire trip without her? We'd hate to lose free dining by rebooking but obviously that would be cheaper than having free dining and paying for her unused tickets and such. And if they're understanding enough to do that (now I'm really stretching it) what are the odds they'd let us downsize from a 2 bedroom villa to a 1 bedroom villa maintaining the booking?
Thanks!!
Thanks!!
