Booked for october 2011

Well after much umming and ahhing I have finally bitten the bullet today and booked for October 2011 with complete orlando at what I think is a great price.

14 nights 2 adults & 1 child at Disney POR £100 a night = £1400
Disney 14 day ultimate £230 adult £205 child = £665
Free QSDP upgraded to DDP for £6.50 adult £1.50 child = £205

Thats a grand total of £2268, no flights booked yet I can add them later or book them myself.

I had been waiting on Disney UK releasing their prices for 2011 but the same holiday was about £500 more and that was without the Free Dining.

Unfortunately both Disney and Complete Orlando are too expensive for OKW next year, they haven't added any discounts yet. Will just have to wait, still very early yet though.

I think you got a great deal. My flight inclusive for 2 of us at POFQ came in at just under £3000 for this year. I kept the QSDP so no upgrade there. For 3 people I reckon you did really well! You should be celebrating now - a pre-planning celebration!!!

Had our quote from Complete Orlando for POFQ, 15th October for the 8 nights before our cruise and they want £106pn including free dining VH are charging exactly the same but without the free dining at the moment. Just hope VH bring out the free dining quickly as I can get a 15% frequent Virgin discount at the moment bringing it down to £90pn. I think I might be very tempted to just book the whole lot through VH again if they bring out the free dining while the 15% discount is on.

The prices quotes on Complete Orlando website are not reflecting the discount
For OKW studio in August 2011 - the website averages around £171 / night, where I was quoted over the phone, £107/night including dining plan.

Anyone think the other companies will release the dining plan over Easter?

I looked too and yes it does show 10% but if you phone up and quote your FVC number they will give you 15% off. This is because they have increased their online discount to 10% at the moment so to be fair to FVC members they have also increased the FVC discount to 15%. My quote for the whole package gave me over £700 off....... but no free dining. If the dining was included I'd have booked on the spot. Unfortunately, by the time the main brochure comes out the extras discounts will probably have expired as they are only due to run until the preview brochure expires at the end of April.

I'm waiting for the free dining too. I know I could book with CO but I don't feel comfortable about booking with them for some reason. It'll either be VH or Disney for me I think.
