So we have bitten the bullet and booked for me DH and DD to go to DLP for New Year. Cost a small fortune but hey ho!

We are v excited, but we aren't telling my 5 year old daughter until Christmas Day - an extra special christmas present.

I have a question for those of you who have done this many times. We are flying into Charles de gaulle and are looking to book transfers - last time we booked a private car which was brilliant and comparatively reasonable by the time you put the three of us on the shuttle bus.

Trouble is I can't remember who we booked with! Does anyone have any good experiences with any companies which were reliable and good value?

Any other tips for only having 2 days in DLP (last time we had 5 days so had lots of time to mill around, and DD was only 2.5)?

Thanks!
Susan

Wow! That sounds so fun! I can't help that much with your questions I'm afraid, but I'm just curious about where you're staying and how much it's costing you? Is the park open till midnight? If you're only there for a short time, I would just say make use of the fastpasses to go on your favourite rides, and don't worry too much if you have to skip something - I'm sure you'll be back a some point :D Just relax and enjoy yourself :) If DD is really into meeting the characters, a character meal will make sure she gets a good selection of autographs :)

Enjoy!

the one we went with was EZshuttle i think thats what it was called, or something very similer anyways. they were awesome. i got the number off someone on here. i sure someone will be along soon with a number or email for them.
they even brought us a car seat for the wee one so i didnt have to have him on my knee all the way to the airport. was fab worth the 90 or so euros that it cost.

Hi Christine

We are staying in the Hotel New York, arriving 31 Dec and leaving 2 Jan (2 nights / 3 days). I've booked a character breakfast for new years day - and that all cost just over £1000 for accomodation, tickets and the character meal. Then we had our flights from Glasgow to Paris - they were about £750

We've still transfers to pay and meals while we are there. i just about fell off my chair when I saw the offers on the Disney site - booking meals in some of the restaurants would have been another £300+ for the 3 of us!!! Think we'll be having Mcdonalds!

What a lovely present for your DD!! :cool1: and you!! :goodvibes

We've used Ezyshuttle and BSTransports - there's links to both (and other shuttle firms) in The Very Useful Info sticky.

Some of the restaurants do have very expensive :scared1: menus on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve but if a restaurant isn't listed then the prices should be as usual.

Have a great time! :goodvibes
