Booked for 2016

Please reassure me I am not crazy... recently booked FW for our 2016 Spring Break trip. Will be my first time at the Fort and I am already excited!

Congratulations! If you're crazy, you're not the only one. Both of our christmas trips to the Fort were booked 499 days in advance. We don't usually plan THAT far ahead, but we learned the hard way 4 years ago when we called in April to try to make reservations for December and were told that they were already sold out for the dates we needed. If you want to go when everybody else wants to go (holidays, spring break, etc), make the reservations as early as you can.

When booking that far in advance, can you only do it by calling? Looking online and I can only get to the end of January 2016

Yes, I had to call. You cannot book that far in advance on the website. But since I am going over Easter, I felt the need to book early because I am constantly reading how full FW is over any of the holidays!

Yeah you are definitely not crazy. We are going on our first Fort trip and are checking in on Thanksgiving and staying 10 days. I booked it last August. My family thought I was nuts. So just this past Thanksgiving, I brought it up online and tried to book my same dates- nothing available. I emailed the screen shot to my husband to prove to him that I was not crazy for booking so early!

You're not crazy. The Fort will be great. The parks will be nuts. Just keep planning early and you'll have a great time.
