Booked first trip home--Xmas decorations

Hi I just booked our first trip home for Nov 13-18 and I invited some family members using banked 2005 points. Can anyone tell me if there are any xmas decorations put up yet? What the weather may be like during that time (for pool)? And if the xmas decorations are just for mickeys christmas party events then taken back down? Any info would be great. Since the first MVMCP takes place on Nov. 13th that at least MK will have decorations up. I don't think they will be taking the trees down and up at MK, but there was some chatter about where the tree would be before/after the taping of the Christmas parade for TV.

Are you going to go to a party? We've enjoyed them, and plan to go again this year.

We went swimming at VWL in 2004 in November, and that resort was all decorated by the 16th.

I don't know about this year but last year we were in WDW Nov 12- 14th. The were putting up decorations the whole time we were there we even got to see the Osbourne lights in MGM. So you should definetly see some.

There will certainly be decorations up for MVMCP, and I doubt they could take them up and down each night, since it takes quite awhile to get the whole place decorated. We have seen everything up by Thanksgiving, so I would think you will see quite a few.

Which resort are you staying at? If you are going to OKW, be sure to bring a string of lights for your balcony. We have lots of fun doing that for the holidays, and there are usually lights up in the resort all the way through to New Years.
