i just wanted to say how impressed i am so far with Ezyshuttle...as you may remember i was in a bit of a tizzy about how we were going to get to our hotel due to late flight. I emailed ezyshuttle and explained how nervous a passenger i am and asked if we could request that our driver not drive overly fast. I got a very prompt email back from John the owner to say that he would arrange to personally pick us up to ensure we had a nice slow drive lol! so that is us booked and I feel so much better about our upcoming trip now. I have had a bad experience with a shuttle transfer in paris where we thought we literally were not going to make it alive and i swore we would never do it again but i feel so much better now!

MY previous experience with Ezyshuttle and John suggests you are in good hands and will have no problems.

That was a good idea to inform them, bet you feel happier now that you've had this reassurance. :)

we used john last week and he was fanatastic, he even managed to stop my 8 y/o on the way home from crying by telling her that she had to go home otherwise she wouldnt be able to plan to come back :)

I'm going to e-mail them now that I've booked definite dates. Haven't used them before but everyone on here always seems so complimentary so I figure it's better than booking someone random! Just hope he's available as we are going in about 7 weeks time. Did I read someone else saying that if John's not available he farms it out to another company? Has anyone had this happen and if so how was the replacement?

I think John is brilliant and apart from our first trip where we used RS Transports (and they forgot a baby seat for my 6 month old DD on airport return!), I've always used John. He has always had a decent selection of baby seats for us to choose from! He is Irish, so no language barrier too.

We have been lucky enough to get him as the driver for all but the last trip, where on the way back it was a different driver, who worked for Tioshuttle. I know this because his business cards were on the driver console :rolleyes1. Anyway, to be fair, he was there early but did not come in for us (we were in the DLH lobby) and did not even wave a card with our name on in our direction. As he was early, I didn't think it was our bus, so I just waited until our collection time was up by 5 mins and thought I had better go and ask him - it was our bus! Good job I went and asked - I did mention it to John and he said some drivers don't like to come into the hotels (John always has) and that he would have come in if we'd been more than 5 mins after our pick up time :confused3. Honestly wasn't too much of an issue but I did think it a little odd. Hasn't stopped us booking again for our next trip though and John has said he will drive us :thumbsup2.

Rosebug (I think it was her) had an issue where she had booked in Feb (I think) with him and although it was meant to be a private shuttle, ended up being shared. I think this was because again, John had used another shuttle company, and clearly they thought they could bunk up everyone! :headache: Again though, to be fair to John, I'm sure if he knew about it, he would have been apologetic as the price is for private shuttle.

It's like anything - John and his driver are great (think he has 2 plus himself?) but obviously it depends how much the third party company can be trusted.

They all seem quite friendly and do each other favours. I recall last trip, someone had booked a transfer and because they had a lot of luggage and it was a car (?) they couldn't fit it all in the boot! John knew the driver and offered to take the extra luggage in with ours - in the boot, and drop it off at the other person's Disney hotel after dropping us off at the DLH which I thought was kind.

DLP Dreams - I did speak to John, and it was all sorted out, the guy who was meant to pick us up was held up so had to ask someone else, and that's when it got handed to a shared shuttle, and also why there wasn't a correct child seat. He didn't know it had been handed over, and spoke to the drivers about it. He more than made up for it, and personally drove us in August. Amazing service and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone, and if we go back will definitely use him again! :thumbsup2
