I personally am glad that you posted and would have sent you this in a PM, but I'm afraid you wouldn't have read it. Without the info most everyone would have given up. Most of us use the boards to help in planning, and to gather alot of informaiton. I believe that alot of the phone calls that BO has received has caused them to lighten up on the restrictions they once were placing on the offer. Hope you have a wonderful vacation. I'm planning on it, discount package or not.

Crazy for dis. I too am a new member, and I understand where you are coming from. I have been lurking for a long time and had decided to finally register to post a ? about discount tickets. I can say that some of the comments in this thread also make me want to just keep lurking, but I felt I needed to post this to let you know that you are not alone. Some of the comments arent' so nice and are enough to scare new posters away. I do not feel your post was insulting, not anymore so than other posters. You shouldn't of had to explain yourself. You deleted because you wanted to. Well...have a great vacation!

Crazy for the dis.... I am so sorry you had such a bad experience with your post All in all this is a great place to visit if you are planning a WDW trip. I am sorry that some here have the "holier than thou" attitude when it comes to the "rules". And trust me this is not the first issue that has incited these types of nasty posts.

I'm glad you got the deal you did, legit or not. Even though I love WDW, the rates for their resorts and tickets are ridiculous. Hey and if someone was able to get a deal.... MORE POWER TO YA!!

Crazy for the dis... don't give up on us yet, there are a hugh amout of just great people who post here!!

I too am fairly new here, (planning first family trip to WDW) and have found lots of helpful information.

I check out moussavers just about every day to see if any
discounts are available.

I think the mere fact that there is a discount out there for the upcoming spring/summer time is a good indicator for all of us!

After reading the historical info at mousesavers, it seems Disney typically offers a discount to a certain group and than opens it to everyone shortly. I know this is no guarantee that it will happen but I'm hoping it's a good sign of what will come (again)
