booked Concierge and upgrades question

We have sometimes had luck upgrading at the port with going to the supervisors desk after checking in to see about upgrades. My question is, has anyone ever upgraded from a CL family to a 1 bd suite AT the concierge check in? Or do you have to check in like everyone else and then go to the supervisors desk too? Thanks all!! xx

I would assume that they would be able to do it at the concierge desk. However, I've never been on a cruise where there is any 1bd suites available on embarkation day. May the odds be ever in your favor.
