Booked beyond points allocation

I dont know if this question makes sense but here it goes. I am looking at a October 2023 trip with a December use year. Do I have to wait until December 1 for the borrowed points to be available that I need to make the trip happen. Or can I still book it at 11 months (November) because that trip falls in the window of 2023 banked points. That question makes sense in my head its just hard to type

You can always book 11 months out regardless of your use year.

You can book 11 months out if it's your home resort. If the borrowed points are going to be from Dec 2024, then you would need to wait until Dec 2023 to borrow from them. It sounds like you're using 2023 points though, so you should be good.

Just adding a bit more to clarify:

All of the points for the life of your contract are already in your account. They just have to be valid for your dates of your stay. If you have points valid for the stay, you can book 11 months prior for your home resort and 7 months prior for a non-home resort (even if the 11 & 7 month windows begin before the start of the use year into which your vacation wlll fall).
