Booked Beach Cottage and airfare 11 months out...

Just finished booking the Beach Cottage

at VB(day by day) for June 26th- July 2nd. Also booked our airfare 330 days out and got non-stop Pittsburgh to Orlando for $190(taxes inc)via US AIR.

I booked 7 tx at that price($190). It pays to book early(DVC and airline) and get the seats when they 1st go on sale.

We were lucky with the cottages also. We are going in May and were very surprised when I called and I got one. We were a little past the 11 months and got the whole week with one call. Have a great trip.

Great airfare. I too have found that airfare in our area always goes up and it is beneficial to book early.

Sounds great. We really loved the beach house. While not a beach person I could find living in one acceptable.

Our waitlist for the cottage just came through for April (we screwed up the booking, and we booked at the "10" month window)

What requests (if any) did you make for the cottage? I actually requested a specific one.

Maistre Gracey 5 of the 6 Beach Cottages are non-smoking, so our only request besides non-smoking, was close to the main pool(preferably 1450) if it is available. A least we don't have to worry about not getting "ocean view".

Isn't it convenient that the 330-day airline reservation window so nicely matches the 11-month DVC reservation window? It's almost as if someone was thinking of us.
