Booked Aug 2023, but I’m so confused on site!

I’ve booked 3 nights at Marvel for Aug 2023. I’m used to the WDW website and although the DL site appears similar it doesn’t seem as simple to navigate. How do I find out what kind of tickets came with my package? Are they single day or hopper? I couldn’t seem to edit my tickets when booking my package, it just automatically gave me 4 day tickets, but it’s unlikely we’ll need 4 days m, I see no where to edit this?
And lastly how do I add dining? I read on website if you have hotel reservations you can book dining 12 months in advance, but when I search dining reservations it only allows me to do so through December.
Trying to avoid international fees for calling, but so many questions!!

All DLP packages automatically come with 2-park Hopper tickets for all days of your stay, including arrival and departure days. That's not something you can change - there's no way to say "I only need X amount of days" and even if there were, it wouldn't change the price at the end of the day. That's always been the case ever since the park opened.

For restaurant bookings, for quite a while it has been "roughly" 60 days out that reservations were available - sometimes you might get lucky and find dates further out than that, other times you might find that dates aren't released until nearer 50 for some reason. Now I only heard about the change to 12 months out bookings for on-site people a few months ago, so I have no idea how that's going to work given that dates are rarely loaded in the app more than two months out, but maybe they're going to change the way it's done soon, or perhaps it's a theoretical "you CAN book 12 months out if you're lucky" sort of thing?

It's hard to say why this is exactly, but I think it's just that booking dining way in advance has not been a big thing in DLP until very recently and maybe some of the restaurants aren't quite on board with it yet and are still only working out their dates a few months at a time? Heck, until about 2018/9 (not sure exactly when) there weren't even online restaurant bookings available - you had to do them by phone or via your hotel's concierge once you got to the resort.

Thank you for all this info. Very helpful. I have nothing except WDW to compare so I was feeling a bit lost and details weren’t clear on the site.

My understanding from reading other threads elsewhere is that, if you have linked your reservation in the app, if you then click on Home --> Book a Table --> Date in the app, then you will be prompted to log in and then the dates of your hotel reservation will appear and you can book reservations up to a year out.

Except that it has not been working recently for people who have tried it. I am going in April, but only get 60 days out when I do that. My booking does appear in the app, so I think it is just that those dates are not available for booking yet (unless there is some step I am missing).

In general, I have found the web page and the app to be very difficult to navigate, much different from Disney World and Disneyland, which for sure have their own issues, but nothing like this.

Thanks. This is what is happening to me. The booking is in the app. though no restaurants allow me past December. I did end up speaking to someone who said to just keep trying. She was very nonchalant about it (very different that WDW CMS!), not rude just a "oh look at that oh well" haha. As long as it's not something wrong on my end I don't really mind. She made it seem that only some restaurants such as Remy's and PYMs at Marvel will release reservations further out.

And I totally agree the app and site are just "off", I'm not tech savvy so thanks for confirming its the website and not me :confused3

At least, when I have been looking 60 days out, I have seen places like Remy's and Captain Jack's listed, not necessarily for dinner, but for lunch at 5:30 or so, which when I want to eat anyway.

Keep checking the app. I visited this summer and I started seeing availability for my week of travel quite a few weeks before I was supposed to be allowed to book. Also I can't remember for sure but I don't believe that lunch went through 5:30pm, that was counted as early dinner.
