Booked at Kidani!

I called today on my 7 month out date to book AKL savannah view for my mom and my birthday. We got Kidani! I've only found a little bit of information on this (which states the new savannah won't be ready). Are there any other good places for info on the new resort? Such as:

Will it use the same pool?
Will it have different restaurants?
Will it still be easy to get to Boma (want to book a breakfast there - yum!)

We stayed at Jambo house this past January on $ and I am excited that for a special trip I will be trying something old and new at the same time!

Kidani Village will have it's own themed pool and table service restaurant. There will not be counter service except for the pool bar.

It's a half mile from the lobby of Kidani Village to the lobby of Jambo House. I see that you are in Tampa so I guess you will have a car which will make it easier to get between the two section of AKV.

Thank you! Yup we will have a car but it's just easier to walk, ya know? A half mile is not bad - and I'm assuming that's walking on some path? Not like through the parking lot? Will the TS place be opening with the rooms or will it take a bit longer? Thanks for the info!

The lobby, pool, gift shop and restaurant should be open when Kidani Village opens on May 1. The walk looks like it might be mostly parking lot. Kidani Village is going to have ground level parking under the buildings. It's unknown if there will be doors at the ends of the two sections where they are the closest.

Enjoy the new resort, I am a points miser and booked our trip for August at Jamba house in a value 2bedroom. I wish they had value 2 bedroom at Kidani. We will be walking over to use the new pool.
