Booked again!!!

Just booked our 3rd trip for next year. Fly out Xmas day, return flight 3rd Jan.
Was going to wait for Miles and Money flights but after the disappointment with prices for our Easter and August trips decided to book with VH.
I am not sure how they get to these prices but one of them is not right.
I have booked package staying at Marriott Village, Fairfield Inn £599 each. Flydrive with no hotel and no car (flight only) was £671
Also got Disney cruise booked for Aug 2009, 4 trips planned is a great feeling.

We will do trips to other parts of US or Italy in between to break it a little. Although if DW and DS had their way we would be in Florida 13 school holiday weeks a year.

I was looking at Virgin too, as we usually go to Tenerife for Christmas and New Year (actually going this Tues 18th - Yippee!!!)

But prices for next year show at the moment its cheaper to go WDW????

Am very tempted to book this evening - I also have 2 other holidays booked already - Cyprus - May 08 (to see mum and dad) and Minorca in July 08 ( had our honeymoon there!!!)

Let u know how i get on. Can I ask why u choose Fairfield over the other 2??

Canaries are so expensive at xmas unless you do last minute, other day I saw one for £275 xmas day for 7 nights half board un-named, named was over £600. but DW has to work about 4-6 hours NYeve or we would be off somewhere.
May is a great month to visit Cyprus. We had perfect weather in May.
Fairfield was cheapest of the 3 in the Marriott village, I dont think Virgin do the Courtyard on Palm, didn't come up anyway. Stayed at Fairfield at Easter no problems at all, free wireless connection and free breakfast(which is very good for nothing) wanted to keep costs down as much as poss as we are taking DMIL, she has to pay for room on her own, where ours works out at £599 hers is about £840. Did consider Springhill suites for extra £75/room but we are not in the room long enough to pay it.

Numerous times but I know a couple of people that own out there and both wish they had not done it due to very high maintainance charges and running costs. Would be a bit of a waste also, no way would we make a meal, do washing etc. We like staying in a hotel and having our beds made and someone cleaning up after us, dont think staying in our own home would feel like a holiday as much, more home from home. Staying in a condo next Easter and not sure about it but we need extra bedroom for DS's school friend.
While hotels are only £20-£25/night will stick with them.

I'm sure you'll love the condo - we have stayed twice at WH in a townhome & had a brilliant time. Although each are individually owned & obviously have different management companies we had no complaints. It is so near to Ak too!
