I did it - I booked a three night trip at the beginning of April today!

As some of you may know I had hoped for three nights at the Elysee, because of EMH combined with reasonable prices, but when I finally got my act together discovered that I could get the 1st and 3rd but not the 2nd :confused3 . Then on the off chance that the hotel itself could offer availability, I tried emailling them direct and yes they do, but at a much higher cost.

SO, a cunning plan has been hatched and we are doing the first night at the Etap and the other two nights at the pixiedust:New York pixiedust: for only a little more (£33) than three nights at the Elysee.

I'm now officially a happy bunny:banana: (couldn't find a bunny smilie).

I don't really have a question (although any info that anyone might like to offer will be gratefully received) - I just wanted to tell someone who might appreciate how much of a lift this has given me.

Its a great feeling when you've actually booked it isn't it?

Well done!!

Elaine

Well done!

I'm also full of smiles when we book our trip... Going again in April and just can't wait! Have definitely caught the bug;)

Thanks for all the good vibes, guys. Very much appreciated.:goodvibes

Now I've gotten over the instant high, I'm starting to worry about planning. Last time travel was easy because I just booked a private transfer. I really wanted to use the TGV but couldn't because Mom has difficulty with mobility and the transfer was the only real choice.

Would therefore love to hear tips from those of you who have arrived into terminal 1 in CDG and used the TGV.

We will be hand luggage only, so don't have to hang around conveyor belts at all (joy) - how much time would you allow between landing and the train's departure?

You can bet your #$* I'll have loads of questions over the coming weeks but for now that's all.

I am going that week too. Flights booked - still sorting accomodation. Had wanted to go to Dream castle but, same as you, couldn't get in on the Wednesday (2nd April), though ok for all other days. Is something going on on the 2nd that we should know about? :confused3

I asked on another thread if anyone knows what's happening on the 2nd, but it seems to be one of life's big mysteries - a Royal visit perhaps, but with all those princes and princesses running around Disney, who would notice:lmao:
