We are heading back to DL for the first time since the pandemic. (family of four all adults). So much has changed we've decided to take a VIP tour for the day (we have two more to follow). Now the question is : what shall we prioritise? Which rides, and which meals? (we are touring mid week early November so not much in the way of shows...) What do you think? What should we do? :yay:

I would say make a list of rides you want, and you should be able to get them all in, no problem. Regarding the dining, we booked a VIP for this October (our first VIP at DLR, we have done many VIPs at WDW but never felt we needed VIP at DLR until this trip). I booked the VIP at several months before. I asked for BB the night of the VIP at 6pm, months before our actual date. I emailed them several times, including the day before the 60 day window opened for the date we were on the VIP tour and wanted BB at a specific time (so we could do the VIP fireworks and Fantasmic). They dropped the ball. They didn’t get the reservation and now they could only get 8pm which means we can’t also do Fantasmic and Fireworks that night. They are attempting to make it right, but I would NOT depend on Disney VIP services to get your dining. Get it yourself and if they also get it, great.

Top priority for us on a DL tour is always the rides that you have no other way of skipping the lines for, namely Peter Pan, Mr Toad, Alice. Snow White, and the Pixar Pier Ferris wheel in DCA. It does feel a bit strange to prioritize these over super-headliners like ROTR and RSR, but you can do both of those by paying for ILL at a tiny fraction of the cost of a VIP tour.

That's good advice - thanks.

Great thank you. We were thinking of using them for the Star wars ride, only because we haven't been able to visit that land yet so not 100% on how to schedule it. How many rides do you think we might we expect to be able to do?

Seating for World of Color should be available. There is also seating for the Christmas Parade.
Seating does not need to be during the tour

But it does have to be on the same day as your tour, with very few exceptions. At WDW, you still have to be within the hours of your tour when the nighttime entertainment that you want VIP seating for, starts. For DLR, they will reserve you a spot on the night of your tour, but you tour can be over by the start of the show.
