Booked a pirate room today

I don't usually care too much for upgrading but it is a short weekend trip with my brothers and I opted for a Pirate room at CBR. Now that I've booked it I am really excited to see it!

Congrats - I've seen some pics on the resorts forum of the pirate rooms & they look really cool - hope you enjoy your stay there & have a great trip!

We are heading to a Pirate Room in less than 2 weeks!!! I am so excited, but it is a surprise for my boys-so I am trying to contain myself....

I just booked a pirate room today as well! We're going Sept. 16-20. I looked at some of the pictures online and it really looks awesome. It has been a long time since I stayed at the CBR, so I'm really excited.

Me Tooo! We are surprising our boy for his 6th b-day with a wdw trip-staying in a pirate room. I am so excited, it's hard to keep the secret! Anybody have any more pirate room pic's to share? Also, I read somewhere that the curtains do not do a good job of blocking the light from outside...just wondering if anyone else found that to be true or not.
