booked a package - when will tickets or bands come

I haven't booked a full package in years - like 10 years! I'm going with my mom on 5/29 for 5 nights at Coronado - MYW Package. When will I get my bands/tickets - I need to do my fast pass plus on line. Or, does it work another way?

Did you book through the Disney website? If you did you should be able to log in and book your fast passes from 60 days out, you should be able to go on and make dining reservations now.

I'm overseas so can't help with the band arrival question sorry (ours wait for us at the hotel) . But you don't need them to make your dining reservations or your FP+ reservations.

You don't need your MagicBands to make FP+. Simply set up an account in the My Disney Experience section of the WDW website and link your package reservation to your account. Then, 60 days prior to check-in, you can go into the FastPass section of My Disney Experience and make your FP+ selections. As the PP noted, you can make your ADR's for dining now.

If yes, is your package linked into your MDE account?

That's all you need to make FP+

If not, set up your MDE and link your reservation. If you need help, call Disney they have pretty good technical support over the phone.

As others have said create or log in to My Disney Experience. You not only can make FP reservations and ADR's, you can also customize your magic bands through MDE. About 3 weeks or so before your trip Disney will ship your Magic Bands to you(as long as you live in US).

As an aside, I am pretty sure you don't get actual tickets anymore. Everything is on your Magicband.

Your MagicBands will ship approximately three weeks before your trip date. Make sure you check the shipping address and customize them at least 30 days before trip date. And when the MagicBands arrive make sure you check the box thoroughly. They are now shipping matching luggage tags when you get the packages and the tags are under the MB's.

You don't need magic bands or tickets in hand to make FP+. You do need to set up your MDE.
