I booked 3 rooms with an email rate I received. Now, here is my dilema...

I left the deposit for all 3 rooms on my credit card. I called and spoke with a CM who told me that the entire reservation was in my name, that's fine. We have my inlaws staying in one room, us in another, and friends in the 3rd. I asked the CM if when we checked in all rooms could be billed and paid for seperately. I was told no, all rooms would be billed to me and I would have to figure out how to divide this. Could this be correct? I mean they can split a check in a restaurant but not a hotel bill????

Anyone have any experience with booking more than one room in your name and how WDW handles it?

Please any info would be so helpful!

Thanks!

Hi!!

I have 2 rooms booked in my name, 1 for myself & DH, 1 for BIL & SIL. I paid the deposits on my CC and was told that, "no problem", my BIL & SIL could pay their portion w/ their CC upon arrival. I was also told that it was "no problem" to set up separate accounts for each room for charging purposes.
I'd call back if I were you, and ask someone else. :)

I booked 3 rooms at the same time through Disney's CRO. They wanted all the names and ages of everyone in each room and automatically issued three separate reservation numbers.

I just paid the deposit by credit card for my room and had the other families call in to pay for theirs before the due date.

You could ask them to split the rooms into different reservation numbers now if they won't let you pay separately upon checkin.

Good luck!

Dreamin Disney, did you have a special email rate, or did you book rack rate? I was under the assumption that this all had to be under my name because I was the one with the pin#...

Am I wrong (that would be great!)

Let me know please

Since you booked with a postcard (or was it email?) rate, they do all need to be on one reservation in order for all 3 rooms to have the discounted rate.

However, there should be no problem with each of you paying your own share of the remaining balance when you check in. When a friend and I travelled together, we did just that. I paid the deposit, but then we each used our own credit cards for our respective balance when we checked in.

I have two rooms booked under my name and I paid the deposit with my cc. One room for us and the other for my parents. The cm that I talked to said I would have to put them both on my card when we arrived, but when we checked out, we would be able to split it between the two and each pay.

I would definately call back to verify.

Emme - No I did not use an email rate, so I guess that's why you had to be placed under the same reservation. I used a discount code, the BAT for the general public, so I guess each party for each room could use it and pay separately.

When you check in, I would certainly ask to pay the balance separately. If they give you a hard time, you could always suggest that you don't have enough credit to pay the total on your own card, and they would have to split up the payments. But I really don't think you'd have to go that far and make the situation embarassing. I would think that they would want to accomodate your request willingly.

We just got home today from All-Star Movies with 3 rooms on an email postcard code.

We were able to use different credit cards to pay for the room once we arrived, but they did not let us split the rooms for separate credit cards for charging. I did have to tell the front desk how much to charge to each credit card when we arrived. They did not split it up for us.

Our friends just used their own personal credit card for their purchases and our BIL just paid us when we got home.

However, if everyone wants to use their room charge the printout they give you tells you which room key charge what (they each have a unique number) and you can apply any amount with any credit card you wish at the front desk.
