Ok - I am trying to book our families first Disney cruise......we would like to travel in December 04....do cheaper rates come out later in the year? Do Fl Resident Seasonal Passholders get a discount?

Thanks!

Check to see if you can get a price adjustment down the road if the price falls

Book now! Usually the price increases closer time, unlike some of the other cruise lines. Plus there is a high demand for Disney cruises which could mean that the cabin you would like could sell out or worse yet the entire cruise sell out. Depending on who you book with, most travel agents will deduct any price drops. Some do it automatically and with some you have to keep an eye on the price yourself. Good luck!!

Definitely book now! It is very rare for prices to drop on DCL. Plus if the price does fall, all you or your TA has to do is call DCL and they will honor the lower price. HTH

From what I've seen- in MOST cases, the price goes up up up the closer to the date. I have only read a few instances of prices going down- but I would venture a guess that in DECEMBER- that wouldn't be the case (being around the holidays and such). It's probably only going to happen in months where they are not at full capacity (probably school months not around holidays also) and thus they might lower the rates to get the ship full.

It's best to go ahead and book- just ask whoever you are booking with if they will reduce your price if the price goes lower after you have booked it. I believe DU, allseastravel and perhaps even DCL themselves will do this- but ask first. Then you have nothing to lose with booking now- you get the early booking discount, don't have to worry about the rate going up later on, and if it goes lower- you're price will go down. :)

book now before the price goes up. my 11/13/04 cruise has already gone up $300 since i booked it in sept 04. so book it now and make payments. disney dont mind til your at the 60 day mark. good luck

We booked last Feb for this coming May and the price is up over 1500 from what we booked at! Book now!!

Fl residents can get very discounted rates, but only 3 months in advance IF the ship hasn't sold. If you want a specific date, book now. You'll get the best early booking credit. If the cost of your cruise goes down, DCL will refund the difference. Most of the time, the price goes up as you get closer to your sailing date.

If you don't really care about the date, you can hang loose and hope for a good price reduction near your date...but you really can't count on that.
