I'm sure I ask the same question on here every year, but does anyone know when prices & bookings will be available for November? - I can't wait as usual!

We're just back from a fabulous first trip to WDW, but despite what others have said, my heart is still in DLP!

You can currently book for arrrivals up to the 9th November, anything after that should be available about the end of June. Hopefully someone will let us know if it's sooner!! :)

I'm really glad you had a great time in WDW, but it's always warming to read something like this! :goodvibes

Yes, if I had a dollar for everyone (including those who have never been to DLP) who said that after WDW I won't be so mad about DLP, I would be able to buy that huge happiest celebration snow globe thing! They're all wrong - I had a fantastic time there, and it's certainly a LOT bigger, but I feel like DLP is my home-from-home. There's no place like DLP at Christmas, and I would say that the Fantillusion parade is better than the Spectromagic one (this may be controversial!). DLP is also much prettier, and many of the equivalent rides are better than those in WDW eg. Pirates, Phantom Manor, Space Mountain..........

(The people in queues however are much nicer in WDW  )

Not so much on here, but it might be interesting to see what sort of a reaction you would get if you posted that statement on one of the other boards!!! ;) :teeth:

If you phone Uk reservations I think you can already book. I phoned today to book for January and she said I had to wait until start of July :guilty: But I'm sure she said I could book up until November. It might be worth giving them a call to see :thumbsup2

Glad you had a lovely time in WDW. :sunny: We did things the other way round to you - we went to WDW first, then we discovered DLP. :wizard: I love them both but would agree with you that DLP's Disneyland is much prettier than MK,especially the castle, and a lot of the rides are better.
In an ideal world I would like to be able to holiday at both places each year!:cloud9:

Have you decided yet where you would like to stay?

It's funny but much as I love Disney I've no real desire to visit WDW, some of my colleagues who've been can't understand why we've returned to DLRP and not gone there. I've looked a few times recently because I think the family are getting a bit bored of doing the same rides & watching the same shows but I just can't seem to work up any enthusiasm for it.
I don't know if it's the journey or the size of the park that puts me off :confused3

Don't frighten me Becky! Seriously though, both parades are fantastic, as are both parks! I just think that too many people write off DLP vs WDW when it's totally unjustified.

Magic Kingdom at WDW is actually smaller than DLP's Disneyland Park but seems bigger because there's more attractions. If it was just between these two parks then I think DLP's would win hands down every time for me but I love the other US Disney parks, Sea World, Busch Gardens, Discovery Cove and next time we are going to the Universal parks and spending 3 days on the Gulf Coast. The downside is definitely the travelling time, it is sooooo easy to just hop on and off the Eurostar. We can leave DLP at 6.30 in the evening and we are tucked up in bed by midnight. :faint:
Like I said I just wish I could manage to visit both parks every year, definitely the best of both worlds! pixiedust:

Thanks Disneyangel, but I think they go up to the 9th, or somewhere round there. I get frustrated with this every year!

Jill, I think both these things are a bit daunting, but in my case it was more than worth the effort, planning, and lots of dollars, it really was the holiday of a lifetime! I think if you don't try to do too much it's a bit easier.

You don't hear of many people doing it that way around and still absolutely loving DLP the way we all do here!

I'm aiming for the DLH, but don't know if the pockets will stretch that far yet! I hope so, because we spent less than I thought in WDW - great exchange rate, and cheaper shops than in Paris.

I have to admit to being one of these people once.

However once I visited DLP I fell totally in love with the place  and repented my evil ways! :rotfl:
