I know this airline thing is such a gamble when buying in advance, but I thought I'd check here to see if anyone had any input. We're looking to book 6 seats for sept. (sat to sat) from chicago (ohare or midway) to disney. Looks like the best fare now (leaving am, returning pm w/no stops) is $244pp. Southwest doesn't even have their fares published that far out yet. Should I book now or wait??

Any advice is appreciated!

Thanks! :flower3:

Word around the Southwest water cooler is that their schedule is opening today thru 11/2

Check Airtran outa Midway. They had some at $84pp each way when I was looking at October.

Once you get the rate from SW check with TED (United) to see what there fare is. When I booked my airfare back in Feb for our Aug trip, the price was the exact same for both airlines. I of course chose TED because O'hare is much more convenient for us and you and choose your seats on TED. I took a look at the price of my TED flight the other day and the total cost of the flight increased by $800. I'm so glad I booked when I did.

For SW from Midway, I've watched it a ton. The DING prices go down for August/September in late June, early July...even August. You should be able to get 2 people for just over $200 round trip.

Good luck

Airtran is coming in at 59 one way for our Sept trip. May want to check. Out of Midway;)
