Book character breakfast and meet & greet online!

Dear Daniel,

We are pleased you will be sailing with us soon and want to share with you some additional information about a few activities that are included in your cruise vacation that can be reserved online.

On Tuesday, June 7, 2016, we will open the opportunity for Guests to pre-book a special character breakfast and two of many meet & greet opportunities with our world famous Disney Characters online. As a Gold Castaway Club Member, we wanted you to be among the first to know.

If you are interested in securing bookings for a Disney Character Breakfast, Princess Gathering or a Frozen Meet & Greet during your cruise vacation, please visit the My Disney Cruise section of www.disneycruise.com on or after Tuesday, June 7, 2016, to pre-book these experiences.

Sincerely,

The Cast and Crew
Disney Cruise Line
Good news. I'll be doing it this Summer!

Thanks for this post. I am silver and did not receive an email, but I am able to book the CB and M/G now. If it wasn't for the posts, I would have never known about it! Really happy since I am usually the one stuck in lines for our family!

It is good new no rushing about on embarkation for these, and more relaxing start to the cruise.

Enjoy.

Our next trip will be our first non-concierge, so I was definitely worried about the line ups on day 1. I know everyone had good luck this week, but I hope this remains the case as it becomes common knowledge. We are still silver, so we will see how picked over the events will be by the time later windows open.

We sealed down from concierge on this cruise, the first non concierge since 2009, they have been testing this pre bookable system with concierge for a long time now, with other stuff coming in. It does save a lot on embarkation now, you do not gave to run to guest services.

I'm a Silver member and was able to reserve ours for the EB Panama Canal Sailing in August on the Wonder (last cruise before the big refurb!!)

In case anyone was wondering, this is how it turned out to be:

Day 2 (sea)
Frozen M&G
Princess M&G

Day 6 (sea)
Frozen M&G
Princess M&G
Character Breakfast

Day 7 (sea)
Character Breakfast

Day 11 (sea, also Pirate night)
Frozen M&G
Princess M&G
Both sold out for this day

We booked our Frozen M&G on day 2 (10am) and the Princess M&G (10:15am) and Character Breakfast (9am) on Day 6. We would have done the breakfast on day 7, but that is our palo brunch day ^_^
I'm going to call in the morning to find out who the characters are suppose to be for our breakfast. Not interested if it's Disney Junior since we are 2 adults and don't watch the shows. HOPEFULLY it's the fab 5!

You can do multiple Frozen Meet & Greets?

Also, do we just print and bring that confirmation or will there be tickets to bring?

You cannot apply for multiple meet and greets of the sane type.

So for example

The Magic has:-

Frozen meet and greet.
Princess gathering.
Character breakfast.

You can book, one of each, per person.

One Frozen, one princess, one CB.

This is to ensure as many cruisers as possible can book these.

Similar to Palo, where you can book, one brunch, one dinner, per adult, if you want more you have to go to guest services on the ship and ask.

There are still turn up character meets, that are not pre bookable, you are free to go to as many of those as you wish.

Tickets.

When you book these the confirmation email states that tickets will be delivered to your stateroom on embarkation the same as Palo, shore trips etc. You have to show your tickets for each pre bookable event.

Ok, that is what I thought (1 per person). I got confused with the other poster's schedule that I quoted.

Yes, " online" on what is offered there, one pp.

No multiple bookings fir same event, IE not 2 X Frozen meet and greet.

This is to be fairer to all cruisers, spreading the slots.

On ship, cruisers can go to the non bookable events and queue in the lines.

I just was posting what the availability looked like to sign up for the PC cruise :)
My schedule is a Frozen meet on Day 2 ^_^

I received this email as well, I am Gold- cruise is August 1. It let me book for my family- and the others that are linked with me(that none except my nephew have never cruised), on the 7th. I liked to be able to book it early.

Yes. We really liked it this spring.

But, you're platinum so you book early. I am just hoping that these meet and greets don't become like cabanas: very difficult for low status cruisers. As much as I dreaded the lines, it was a bit of an equalizer for non-concierge.

I think with slots available then whoever what's a slot will get one, yes concierge may get prefered times or days, but anyone should be able to snag something.

Yes I am platinum so the concierge doesn't make a lot of difference bar them booking it for me, I can book at 120 days. However as thus was just generally released it was good for our cruise that basically anyone could book it, platinum and gold CC shared the emails with other levels and new cruisers.

we span two cabins so we will have to book each cabin?

If you link reservations, then one person can book for all.

I would guess your already linked, if it's a family over two cabins,

When you go to " on board fun" the same as Palo, or port adventures, if your linked up, all eligible people will come up, just click for " all" and go ahead.

If not linked you can do that online at the DCL site, all you need is the reservation numbers.

We are silver members and my in laws are first time cruisers and we are linked, will I be able to book the character breakfast for us all together?
