I left off at the Main Street Emporium... we spilled out onto a very crowded Main Street. I had a tight grip on Ethan and we merged into the crowd headed up the street towards the castle, which had an eerie glow. We were working our way towards the castle for a picture and then out to Tomorrowland for more Trick-or-Treating.
We found a Photopass photographer pretty easily and waited our turn. We didn't have to wait very long, and I placed my Trick-or-Treat bag on the ground out of the walkway, along with my camera bag and backpack. Ron and the kids placed their bags there as well.
Our Picture:
We picked up our bags and walked away. DH looked in his bag and noticed that it wasn't his. It was mine, my carrot cake from dinner was in there. I looked in my bag and I realized it wasn't mine, or any of ours, there wasn't any gems in mine. Luckily the kids had gotten their bags. I was the odd man out, so I gave my bag to DH, threw away the melting carrot cake, and then I put the bag that didn't belong to us back on the ground near the Photopass sign. I decided that I would start over, or just skip the treats, since I didn't want to eat any of the candy anyways.
We headed over the bridge into Tomorrowland and found another trick or treat line. I didn't see any CM's with any more bags so I just walked Ethan through the line. We saw the Dance Party, it looked like a lot of fun, but the kids wanted to ride some more rides and it was getting close to the time to meet Kathy and family. So we started back towards Adventure land. The line for Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin was really long so we skipped that and tried to cross back through the hub. It was really crowded because of the Villian's Mix and Mingle but a helpful CM pointed out a way through.
We made our way to the Aloha Isle, Dole Whip and we quickly saw Kathy and family. Nervous Greetings were exchanged

and introductions were given. It didn't take long to feel at ease with Kathy and her Family. Our husbands enjoyed talking about the World Series and the kids. Catie and Tricia were kind enough to take our picture.
We quickly found a prime viewing spot for the fireworks along a railing.
I took this picture of the castle and we chatted about their travel day and our day at DHS the day before.
The fireworks were fantastic! Hallowishes is a great show. Then we headed over the bridge to Liberty Square and Frontierland. We wanted to stake a claim for prime Parade viewing places. Kathy had a great spot in mind but when we got there it was already taken. Soon we had another location staked out. Ron and Abby, and Catie, Tricia, Billy and Ed went to ride Big Thunder Mountain Railroad together. Kathy, Ethan and I kept tabs on the spot. Soon a family of Claim jumpers with some strollers came along and sat on the ground in front of us.
Thankfully some CM's came along putting up the ropes for the parade route. The family had to move, and our claim was safe again. The rope ran right up against the boardwalk so the kids could sit safely on the ground without anyone sitting in front of us.
It wasn't long before they came back from wildest ride in the west, and Ron, Abby, and Kathy went to get some popcorn and sodas. They were really close by but it took a while and they almost missed the start of the parade. The Headless Horseman came galloping by
