Boo to you, and Yo Ho Ho!! An Oct 2012 PTR. Updated 10/22!! Finally!!!!!

We stayed at CBR in 2009 with a renovated room and I was bummed that they didn't decide to put queens in the mod hotels. Low and behold, they started to do just that a few years later. Those doubles can be very cramped when you are talking an extended stay. We loved CBR, though, very beautiful and relaxing and a great pool area with two slides.

We are planning to attend MNSSHP on the 26th actually. I tried to switch it to the 25th, but we couldn't get Pirate's League reservations for that date.

Awww bummer, I guess we are going to completely miss each other after all!

I'm glad to hear you liked CBR. And the double beds aren't the worst thing in the weird - WORST case scenario, since it's just DH and I, we could take separate beds if it got uncomfortable - but I just remember every WDW trip, we are so exhausted we fall RIGHT to sleep, I don't think we're going to be tossing and turning and worrying about bed size.

Changes, changes...I am sure you are a great Disney TA~ yeah all those changes and details left my head spinning! :crazy2: But, that is why you get paid the big bucks, right?!? :lmao:

There are two car rental places on WDW property...you can return the car there instead of taking it back to MCO. We did this a few years ago. We rented one way from the airport (Sanford) and dropped it at the car care center, then picked a car back up to take us back to the airport for the return home. I cant remember what company, but you could check it out and save a trip to MCO.

Can't wait to see how you like AoA!

We were at CBR for our honeymoon, but we had a king bed because it was just DH and I. That was my first Disney Resort and I think it will always have a special place in my heart.

Yeah, we are really looking forward to trying a new resort this time...I look at is as job related!:thumbsup2

I totally agree...you are so tired you would almost sleep on the floor...but we don't want to, we want a nice comfy bed..preferably big enough for two grown adults!:lmao:
I haven't seen the rest of your itinerary, do we not meet up at all that week?

Haha!! WDW vacation planning is the only time I am organized!! You should see my kitchen cupboards!!:rotfl:

Unfortunately, the company we are renting from only has vendors at airports. But, on the bright side we get to ride DME from the airport and watch the welcome video!!:cloud9:

Not a Disney update today, but it is a vacation update!

It's 10 days until we leave for the Adirondacks and stay in this beautiful home that my DBro and I have rented for the week:

http://www.adkbyowner.com/listings/VR6675.html

It's in Indian Lake, NY which is about 5 1/2 hours from here. I have to work on Sat night so I will drive for about an hour to 2 hours until I am too tired and then Ferb will take over and I will nap. The girls are excited for this vacation, they've never been to the mountains and they love spending time with my DBro and DSil and their baby, not to mention my parents will be there too and we all love spending time together. It's gonna be a great week!

My DCousin called and asked about us going to VA to visit my Aunt and Uncle and my other DCousin in from Las Vegas. The only problem was we were going to be away that week. So, with some negotiating the time with my Aunt and Uncle, we are now going to be going to Va when we get back. Only we won't be coming all the way home. My DCousin is going to meet us along the way to take me, Rapunzel and Stitch in her car to drive down to VA. That will leave Ferb to drive the rest of the way home alone and spend the last couple days of his vacation home alone. I feel bad for him, he will miss us badly, but this is a great opportunity for us to see family.

My vacation would normally run from my weekend to weekend. So that means I would work a Monday night and then be off until the following Thurs night. But, because our house rental is from Sat - Sat I needed to add a couple of days off at the beginning of my vacation. So as it stands I am now working Sat night, then off from Sun the 5th until Thur the 16th. We are driving "home" from the mountains on Sat the 11th and I will be in Va with the girls until Wed the 15th. Then back to work on the 16th. I am not wasting any of those 11 days off!:thumbsup2:yay:

I found out after the fact that not only is my cousin from Las Vegas going to be there with her two girls, but so is my other cousin (her sis) from NYC with her son and daughter. That brings the house count to One Aunt, one Uncle, four adult cousins and 7 little cousins...it's gonna be a crazy few days!!:dance3:

Well, that's it for now...
The weird thing is, at 10 days out for a Disney trip, I would probably be pretty well packed. For this one, I haven't even really started thinking about what to pack, and I have two legs on this vacation to worry about....Crazy, no?:crazy2:

Sounds like you better get packing:eek: It looks like you guys are gonna have some great family time :thumbsup2 Where in VA are you going? We are in SW VA (near Roanoke)....beautiful area! Happy Packing!

My Aunt and Uncle live in Warrenton now. They used to live in McLean. It would be about a 9 hour drive from my house, so I am thinking once we get in my cousin's car, probably about 7 hours depending on where she meets us along the way. We love VA!! It's a beautiful state...always so lush compared to here. We have always driven down there while growing up and we loved going in the early spring because it would be so gray and brown here still, but there it would be so green and colorful!

Ahhhh~take me with you!!!! :rotfl: That cabin looks so warm, cozy and inviting! You will have a great time! Can't wait to see some pictures when you get home. :thumbsup2

We are actually leaving tomorrow morning to go to a lake with cabins for a weekend family reunion. I am looking forward to some relaxation. We have had a summer of crazy fun. This is our last hurrah before school starts Monday. :sad1:

Oh yeah, I haven't finished posting it. :rotfl: But no, I checked yours, and not once are we in the same parks -- although I based it off what was on your first page, I know you've changed things around for MNSSHP, if you've made any other changes maybe there's still a chance we'll cross paths.

Yet another weird similarity! My DH's Aunt and Uncle live just outside of Warrenton VA. That's pretty odd!
VA is a really nice area, DH and I lived in northern VA the last 5 years before moving back here to upstate NY. We don't miss the traffic though!

What?! Back to school already? That's crazy!!!:crazy2::sad: We don't go back until the Tues after Labor Day, but we were in class until June 28th!!

I hope you enjoy your weekend! Sounds like you need some relaxing before the school year starts!

Where exactly do you guys live now?

Sounds like a fun trip!

Aaaahhhhh...yes we are sooo looking forward to this vacation. It was an afterthought at first, my Brother really wanted to do it, we had the funds so we thought it would be a great way to spend some quality time together with family. But now that it is almost upon us, I find myself getting really excited!:yay:

That Cabin looks wonderful! You guys are going to have a great time! Family vacations are so much fun, and the kids always have a great time! I would gladly go camping like that any day! Have a great time if I don't speak to you before then ;)

Crazy, huh? Now we live in a town that's in between Albany NY and Saratoga Springs NY, about 15 minutes from both. This is the general area I grew up in, and my family all still lives here, so it's wonderful to be home again! :thumbsup2

Small world! No Disney pun intended!;)

Believe it or not, I've never seen that movie.

I believe it...I have seen parts of it, but not the whole way through.

Me neither. However it leads to the big Disney music controversy. Which song should have won the Oscar? "Colors of the Wind" or "You've Got a Friend in Me?"

"You've Got a Friend in Me" wins in my book...that song still puts tears in my eyes!
