:welcome: Yay another person joining the party!!:jumping1:

Glad to have you here! Not too late, either..unfortunately we still have a long wait ahead of us...90 days to be exact!

So, a few updates to get to....

First, we are 3 months out from our vacation!!

Second, and I am sure that you will all be shocked by this statement..
So, I was looking at our schedule....famous last words, right?:lmao:

But really, I was and I was thinking about how we needed to add a day of park tickets to our YES package because we made reservations for The Pirate's League on the day we are attending MNSSHP. And we hadn't planned on entering the park before 4 so we didn't buy a ticket for that day. You can't add on to the ticket package at WDW so I needed to either call ahead and request that, or ask my cousin's wife to ask her uncle who works in MK to get us in that day. That was a long shot to begin with, but sadly, now my dear cousin's wife has some family issues to deal with and the last thing she needs is me bugging her to save a couple bucks on tickets.

Which brings me back to needing that extra ticket. Now, Ferb and the girls are scheduled to attend their YES class at AK on our departure day. That's no problem and we have a later flight home that day thanks to Airtran changing our flight to 7 pm. We had originally planned to do AK on the 25th all day and then have dinner at Boma, and then maybe another hour or so on departure day after the YES class ended. Well, Ferb and I talked and instead of adding another ticket day, we have decided to focus our AK attention to departure day and hang at the resort on the 25th.

This means that we will miss the afternoon parade due to returning to the resort to catch ME.
What's that? ME? But I thought you were staying offsite, you say? That's right we are staying off site...but only for our first 6 nights and then we plan to be staying onsite for the last 2 nights. Which brings me to another change in plans. :rolleyes1

We have a rental car because we are staying at WBC. I was mentioning to Ferb that we could save some money on the rental by returning it to MCO on the morning we check out of WBC and then take ME to whichever resort we end up at and then use Disney transportation for the remainder 3 days of parks. This would save us over $100 on the rental that we could use towards staying onsite, or even another TS meal if we wanted. I also think we would enjoy riding on ME and the regular Disney buses...I am all for saving money, but sometimes I miss that extra bit of magic like the bus recordings or the ME movie...

Anyways, that decision hasn't been made yet, and we haven't even made any resort reservations for those last two nights yet.

But, as it stands here is our new itinerary for the week:

10/22 Arrive: Raglan Rd dinner
10/23 MK: No ADR
10/24 DHS: 50's Prime Time Cafe
10/25 Rest shop swim: keeping Boma ADR
10/26 MNSSHP: The Plaza
10/27 Rest shop swim: Spirit of Aloha
10/28 Epcot: No ADR
10/29 MK: No ADR
10/30 YES at AK and then touring AK: No ADR

That's it for now...looking forward to our vacation to the Adirondack Mts coming up on Aug 5th! Gonna be so relaxing!!
Hope all is well with everyone!

Followed you over from FB :)

Woohoo, I like seeing another ticker at 3 months out! :thumbsup2
Your schedule is looking great.

Also --- you're headed to the Adirondacks?? Cool! That's our neck of the woods (almost). We're just a little south from there, but that's our summer vacation spot, my grandparents own a little cabin up there. We were just up there last weekend. Whereabouts in the Adirondacks are you going to be?

Welcome! So glad to have you here! We are staying in a house in Indian Lake. It's on Lake Abanakee. We can't wait. We always camped in the Rondies while growing up so my parents are really happy about it to!

Where's are you guys staying in Disney?

How exciting. I think you have made some goo changes....get that room booked though!;)

So fun that you get to stay onsite for a couple of days! As much as we have loved our stays at WBC in the past and look forward to our future stays there, onsite will always have that little pull on me. I'm sure your kids will be excited about that too! It just might be hard going from a big unit at WBC to a little resort room (unless you swing for an AoA suite maybe? ;)). Can't wait to see which resort you choose!

Cool! We stay at Brant Lake, that's about an hour East of where you'll be. Beautiful area.

Our WDW trip is booked at Caribbean Beach. We're okay with that if that's what it ends up being (I haven't stayed there since my first trip when I was 10, so it'll be nice to visit again), but I keep looking to see if any of the other mods open up. All the other mods have queen beds now, that'd be a lot nicer than the double beds at CBR.

Oh! Your plan says you're also doing MNSSHP on the 25th, is that still the plan? That's the date we'll be there too :thumbsup2 Awesome!

I know I need to get on that...

We are still thinking we want to stay at AoA..most likely a LM room because of cost, though. It's only two nights and while it will be cramped, at least we won't need to spread out as much for such a short stay.

We stayed at CBR in 2009 with a renovated room and I was bummed that they didn't decide to put queens in the mod hotels. Low and behold, they started to do just that a few years later. Those doubles can be very cramped when you are talking an extended stay. We loved CBR, though, very beautiful and relaxing and a great pool area with two slides.

We are planning to attend MNSSHP on the 26th actually. I tried to switch it to the 25th, but we couldn't get Pirate's League reservations for that date.

Can't wait to see how you like AoA!

We were at CBR for our honeymoon, but we had a king bed because it was just DH and I. That was my first Disney Resort and I think it will always have a special place in my heart.
