Yay for getting 'Ohana!

I like your idea of touring the monorail resorts after dinner. If you time it right, maybe you could watch HalloWishes from the GF or Poly beaches!

I thought about that too...can't remember when they go off? Is it really late?

Shut up! We also have a 6:30 ADR at Ohana that night!!!

We're planning on watching EWP and Hallowishes after dinner from the beach if we last that long.

No, YOU shut up! Great minds think alike...thankfully there weren't too many great minds today so I could grab that ADR!

Hallowishes starts at 9:30 I think. The EWP I think starts at 9 at the Poly and then circles around. It's been 2 years since we've been there so I may be wrong.

Day 3 ADR​

I had no problems getting on the site this morning and made our ADR for our DHS day at:

Anyways, our ADR is for 5:30 this day and I figure we will probably be taking a break back at WBC for lunch and a quick swim and then return just in time for dinner and Fantasmic!

Glad to see that the pixie dust has been working so far....hopefully we won't run out before we get all of our ADR's set! Tomorrow is a relatively easy one in my estimation....AK day and we won't be having any ADR's in the park, we want to have dinner at Boma. Not too worried about the timing of this one so whatever we can get between 5 and 7 we should happy with! Which is a good thing since I will be at work when I need to get online and make the ADR. I hope I can get to a computer while I am there...if not I will have to wait til I get home.

Not even going to waste any pixie dust on this one...we have harder ones we need it for...so hard we aren't even sure it will be open in time for our vacation...yup, the hugely coveted Be Our Guest...we'll see, that's not til the end of the week, and I am sure we will have many months to wait for that to open...

I got my most difficult one this morning (rolled over at 5 am to book our CP pre-park opening breakfast on DS's birthday morning today!), so the rest should be easy to get or change if needed. I love 50's PTC. It is a fave for my whole family. We had so much fun last time on our trip we decided to go back a second time. I love the peanut butter and jelly milkshake and pot roast..

It's been a few years since we ate there, as you can see from the little girls in the pics...not so little anymore. Gonna have to peruse the menus a bit to see what looks good. We decided to eat here mostly because we wanted something different this year and the only other restaurant we are interested in here is Sci-Fi. Been there done that.

Day 4 ADR!!​

Again, good luck this morning getting online to make my ADR! I even managed to do it from work..while Ferb was standing there with me so I could get his input on the time of the ADR.

We got Boma at 5:15!! YAY!! We are going to be at AK all day and will be right around the corner. It's an early dinner because I can't see us staying past the afternoon parade unless the girls want to explore more. I think it would be fun to explore AKL before dinner! So, there you have it...our ADR's for the week..since BOG most likely won't be open in time for our vacation. It's a pretty front loaded week when it comes to ADR's....might have to think about adding one more near the end just because....
Any suggestions?


Also, I might still book Spirit of Aloha for our down day....hmmmm.....
And like the Days of our Lives.....The Disney Planning continues....

Thanks...it's been a relief to be able to get the times we wanted...I could have stalked the online dining site between now and Oct if I hadn't and probably gotten what I wanted that way, but this is much nicer!

DAY 5 ADR!!!​

I got home from work this morning and was lazying around getting ready to go to sleep..looking online at the dis and facebook..when it hit me! I need to book our Pirate's League appts today!! How could I have forgotten?!?! I thought all of our ADR's were all set until I remembered that this was our MNSSHP 180 day and while we plan on eating breakfast and lunch at WBC and counter service for dinner, we need our reservations for Pirate's League.

I called and got through right away. I was hoping for the latest appt possible and that would have been at 3:30. What we ended up getting was 2:40 and 2:50 because she had to split us up. I was bummed at first thinking this was soooo early, but then I just read that if we have it any later we would miss the Pirate's League parade they have at 4. I guess Captain Jack Sparrow comes out for it or something?

So then while I had her on the line I went ahead and made an ADR for The Plaza for dinner at 5:15 that night. I figure we will be more inclined to having someone wait on us for dinner while we are in costume and it's one of our favorites.

So there you go...two new ADR's!

On another topic, we have been slowly exchanging our money to US funds and last night I was able to get another $500 exchanged for even exchange!! This is an amazing thing when I remember 14 years ago it cost us $1.60 to buy US. And on our first trip in 2008 we were sooooo excited to only have to pay $1.25 to buy US. We've come a long way thanks to the Bush administration! Sorry, don't slam me!!

Moving on....this is a good thing so now we only need about $500 more to make sure we have plenty for food, parking, Pirate's League and general spending money.

But the best news is...Ferb has been soooo good at earning extra cash and saving it, that he agreed to do The Spirit of Aloha dinner!!!!! I have to make that ADR tomorrow!!! I think we will keep this as a surprise to the girls. We like to have a little surprise thrown in there somewhere!

That's all for now...didn't think I would have anything to report today...so excited!! And unfortunately because of that my sleep has been HORRIBLE today...definitely gonna need a nap before going back into work tonight.

Congrats on the ADR's!! I wanted to book the Pirates League for my dd13, but like you posted the last appt is at 3:30....we wanted it on our MNSSHP day and we cant get in till 4:00. I was able to get our youger dd4 a 4:45 appt for the BBB. Oh well...dd13 will understand.

Yay for all the ADRs. I read today that the rumor is..or prediction mor like it that Disney is trying to get Test Track and Fantasyland opne by Nov. 12. Now it's just a prediction...and it really doesn't do me much good either as we plan to come home the morning of the 14th....but maybe I'll get a glimpse. I'm not holding my breath but i am disappointed too.

How's the TA business going? I hope things are picking up. I know it took awhile for me to get the word out.

I have thought about Spirit of Aloha too, but I just can't figure out where I would put it in my plans.

I'm a bit behind but I'm subbing! I have a bunch of updates to go back and read but I wanted to say you have a beautiful family, and October is my FAVORITE time to go to WDW so I'm really excited to read about your trip!

And I'm so glad I'm not the only one who starts their PTR WAAAAYYYYY too far in advance!

OK! Finally all caught up!

Your ADRs are awesome! Is it funny that when you said you were going to Ohana for dinner, the first thing I though of was "Oh good! Now she can get the Pina Colava or the Lapu Lapu (or both)!" Out of curiosity...is there some where to get the Pina Colava that is NOT at the Poly??

Oh! And congrats on passing your exam! I have been really thinking about becoming a travel agent but I didn't know you could specialize in Disney! That sounds like such an amazing job!

Don't you hate it when Disney releases park hours/schedules and then CHANGES IT ALL!?!? They do that ALL THE TIME! And last time we went they were NOT showing Fantasmic every night...so we planned DHS for a Fantasmic Day, then they CHANGED it to a NON-Fantasmic Day so we changed our plans...then they changed it BACK to not only a Fantasmic Day, but an EMH night so Fantasmic would be shown TWICE. We never get Park Hoppers but for our trip in 2013, we're springing for them and going with the Touring Plans park guide. I'd rather just make my ADRs and know that regardless of what park we go to in the morning, we don't have to make a million adjustments to be able to see the night time shows. If we want to get up and go to MK in the morning, then hop over to Epcot in the afternoon, and then go see Fantasmic that night...WE CAN!

Ugh, all of the refurbs going on is driving me nuts! WDW Info just says that Test Track is closed until "Fall 2012." BTMRR is supposed to reopen at the end of May...and it better because I'll be there in July and that is one of my favorites! I was REALLY hoping the Be Our Guest would be open but it doesn't appear likely so it's on the list for 2013! It's going to be so beautiful! I can't wait!

We have been very lucky with our ADR's for this trip, I must say. That O'hana ADR may not stay, though...we have good reason to maybe skip it...I will still be able to get my Lapu Lapu, though so no worries there!

A couple things to report...I am sick. I feel horrible...my throat, my nose, my chest...I'm exhausted....
So I haven't been on the boards much lately, and I won't be on long today either.
Just wanted to say that we decided to do Spirit of Aloha and I went ahead and booked that...Category one..pretty expensive, but I really didn't want to save a few bucks only to have a crappy spot and not be able to see. We will probably cancel our O'hana ADR now because we shouldn't waste money on that when we are doing the show. Plus, MNSSHP tickets went on sale the other day, but we are waiting for our bonuses to get paid out in about two weeks and then we will get our tickets. That's more expensive than I had originally thought, the price has gone up since we went as a family in 2008, plus we are going on a non-discounted night, and Stitch needs an adult ticket now. But, we are still going to do it. We will probably never do it again as it IS a rather expensive night.

So, that's all for now...I think I am going to go lay down. I have to work tonight and I need all the sleep I can get before then.
