34 days to go and I have soooo much between now and then!! I'm not even sure I'll have time to get it all done!! With Christmas in the mix I'm starting to freak just a tad! ​

The cost of the dues has crossed my mind but I think if you've paid cash for the point paying for the sues monthly wouldn't be that big of a deal.

It's coming up so fast and I swear I'm not going to get it all done! I have a list and should really post it for you guys! There just never seems to be enough time in the day!!! You must be soooooooooo excited your trip is coming so soon!!!! Are you still doing the podcast cruise next Dec?

I'm hopelessly behind on all my subscriptions at this point!! There's just so much going on this time of year!!

I gotta tell you, I never, ever thought we'd own DVC! I never thought DH would go for. Let alone be the one that suggested we go on the tour or be so willing to buy! I beat your day will come

Yep! It is currently in the plans to do the Podcast Cruise in December 2010, along with a "land" stay, possibly split between before and after. We haven't quite figured out our dates!

Good for you spending some time at the pool.......I think that pool time is usually underated with everyone so busy to get everything in....

He seemed receptive to the idea of me doing the cruise portion alone and him and the kids meeting me as long as his parents go with us to help him on the plane.

The afternoon at the pool was LOVELY! So relaxing and so much fun! When we bought DVC our guide said we would vacation differently and he was right. We spent a lot more time at the room and just relaxing.

I realllllly want to! I explained to DH about the podcast cruise. Then we got to talking about Disapoolza and I mentioned that if we hadn't gone in Oct there would have been no stopping me from attending last weekend! I'd would have total Disney geeked out to see Marty Sklar speak!

I’m so sorry for yet another delay in my TR/PTR! There’s been so much going on it’s absolutely crazy!!

I have lots of stuff to tell you about!!

First, I got the bestest, most wonderful birthday (my b-day is the 28th) present in the whole wide world!! A 100 point DVC add on!! Yippppeeee!!!! DH and I watched a DVC holiday webcast last Thursday and the incentive to buy was really good!! I spoke to our guide a few times over the past few days and the purchase has been made!! The points are even in our DVC account!!! I looked a few minutes ago and they were there!!!!!! WOOOO HOOO!!!!

I’m so excited and happy!! We are now the proud owners of 300 AKV points!! Yipppeee again! Love it!

Our guide, Nick, is absolutely awesome, so helpful and wonderful!

We were originally going to buy any add-ons through a resale agency. But, if we buy through DVC there are no closing costs because we’re already members, that’s saves a big chunk of change. We also get the same use year no matter what!

Not only was the incentive good but we got 2009 points! With the trip coming up in Jan and our Oct trip we had used all of our 09 and 10 points. Now we’ll have 100 points from 09, which need to be banked right away, and 100 more in Feb!! Woo hooo!!!! Which means I’ll have plenty of points for my dream trip in Dec of 2010 ​

Next, in PTR news, we’re moving ever so closer and doing it very quickly! I’ve been working on a little bit of a tour plan. Kinda of along the lines of a must do list. But a little more involved.

Anyway, I have Epcot broken down into a Future World day and WS day. I realized with a WS day we’re going to have time to kill before WS opens at 11. So, I got to thinking about breakfast for the morning and I had a brilliant idea to add an ADR.

I was able to get a 9:45 am ADR at Akershaus!! Woo hoo!!

I think that is a good sign for the crowd level during our trip! I was able to get an ADR for 10 people 4 weeks out at a place that has princesses!!! Woo hoo again!!

I have soooo much to do between now and Jan 9th! It’s actually a little scary and I’m trying to let it go! If it doesn’t get done it doesn’t get done. Just as long as the things that are most important, packing, etc, get done then I’ll be ok. I think

Now on with the TR!!!

We left for MK around 4:30 and after quick bus ride we were soon on our way up Main Street!

We immediately became somewhat of a Disney World sideshow! Not just one but several different people took pictures of us as they walked toward the exit! DH was a bit taken back by that but I assured him it was a good thing! So I suppose it’s very possible that somewhere another diser has a picture of my family walking up Main Street in our costumes!

We stopped at the top of Main Street to have our picture taken! I can’t believe I’m going to show you thing but I know there are several of you who are dying to see our costumes!!! Especially DS7’s special Mommy handmade Sorcerer Mickey costume!!!

Please excuse how anyone (Especially me, BLECH!!!) looks! It was very, very warm!



Then it was time to head to Cosmic Ray’s for AC and dinner!

We had a lovely dinner of burgers and fries for DH and I and Hot Dogs and Fries for the kiddos while enjoying the silly music and AC!

After our dinner at Cosmic Ray’s we decided to head toward HM!! One of my Halloween must do’s was to ride HM and have our picture taken outside!

It was about 6:15 at that point and they weren’t doing the HM pictures yet but because it was getting darker we decided to head into HM for another fun ride!

But first we stopped for this picture!



IDK but I felt like it was just a tad creeper on Halloween! The fact that some guy screamed really loud in the stretching room made it even more so. He did it for effect and did this great movie like blood curdling scream!! The thing that took me back about it was the fact that he maybe shouldn’t have done it in a room full of kids! DD held my hand a little tighter after that

After once again deciding that none of us wanted to be the 1000th haunt we still had a little time to kill before HM picture taking time! I was in desperate need of a drink of water and having forgotten on refillable water bottle back at the room we headed into Frontierland on a search for water!

DH, DD and DS7 decided for some reason that they needed to play in the shooting arcade! Not sure why and it seemed like a huge waste of time to me but I went with it and Ryan and I found a seat nearby and waited, for a long time!

After they finally stopped shooting we decided it was time to head back toward HM for the picture!!!

Along the way I saw these people!



Not CM’s in anyway, just 2 very nice people in FANTASTIC costumes!! I, of course, asked before I took their picture. Sooooo cool!! I want these costumes for a year where it isn’t so hot on Halloween

We waited for out HM picture for maybe 10 minutes, while we waited we enjoyed the very cool story teller! I’m sooooooo sorry but I didn’t take any pictures of her! I was so completely taken by her I forgot! I’ve heard how cool she is but really, she was all that and soooo much more! She really actually looked like a ghost! I kept wondering if she was a spectacular projected image but I knew she wasn’t. Wow!!

Then it was our turn! I love the way this one came out!!!



I did remember to take these two pics after our little HM photo op!





After that it was off for some trick or treating in the Liberty Square and Frontierland area we got tons of candy! Although the kids were a little taken back by the little boxes of raisins! LOL!!

Then it was time to get a spot for the parade!! We ended up in area in Liberty Square where the parade turns to go down over the bridge toward Main Street.

Not sure if it was the area that we were in or just the fact that it was Halloween but it was packed! Insanely packed!! Claustrophobic, can of sardines packed!!

Of course, Ryan decided that he was not at all happy sitting there waiting. Actually, I’m not sure what was the matter with him but he was super pissed and cranky!! I tried every single thing I could think of! I used everything in my Mommy arsenal!! Gave him so water figuring maybe the heat was getting to him, that seemed to help a lot! Until he spilled it all over his shirt!! UGH!!!

He was soaked and really unhappy! I’d be unhappy too if I was that wet with cold water! Of course, I didn’t have a change of clothes for him because he was already wearing shorts and tee and not a big Halloween costume. So I told DH I needed to get him a new shirt right away and was off just about running to the one place in MK that I knew sold clothes his size! The shop in Fantasyland next to PhilHarMagic! I grabbed a cute tee, paid and back off to our parade spot!

Ryan was much, much happier in a dry shirt and soon the parade was about to start!!

You all know my love for a WDW Halloween and the Boo to You parade is one of the reasons!!!

WOW! Love the parade!!! It's fabulous! I love the music and the dancing and every little aspect of it!!! It's just amazing!

From the parade we decided to head over toward Main Street to get a spot for the fireworks...

Those people in the HM costumes were so cool!! I wondered the same thing about the heat! I'll admit I'm a wimp when it comes to heat but there is no doubt it was warm that day. They kept talking about record temps on the news! I wondered if they were locals and used to the heat! There is no way I could have worn that costume and the makeup and not have keeled over!!!

I love the Boo to You parade!! It's so much fun!!!!

I can't get over getting that ADR!!!
