Boo Hoo - on way home from the Poly!

We're in the airport and just left another wonderful stay at the Poly and a fantastic trip to the World. I"ll write a full trip report in the next few days but just needed to vent my sadness to those that can relate - fellow Dis'ers. ..leaving WDW is always so hard!!

Poly was wonderful - more beautiful then ever! Crowds were great (we were there 11/27 until today....weather was nice - chilly but nice....Decorations were stunning!!

Well - back to Dallas and reality.....for all of you getting ready to leave for the World have a fantastic time!!

I completely understand how you feel. We always feel that letdown after we get back home to reality. We just returned from Thanksgiving week and I am thinking of where we'll stay this summer!

Hang in there, start planning your next trip maybe. That seems to help me. The Poly is so beautiful, nothing compares to it IMO.

You must have had a wonderful time. I'm always sad to leave Walt Disney World because it's always such a great vacation. I can't wait to read your trip report.

We just got home today from our stay at the Poly also. We were there from 11/30 to 12/4. We loved every part of our trip. Beautiful weather did not see a cloud in the sky the whole time we were there. A little chilly but much better than too warm in my opinion. Glad you had a great time.

I left on the same day from Poly. It was my first time. I wasn't sure that I would like it, but I fell in love with it. Too bad I can't go back. It's moderates from now on. I'll miss it. I witnessed a couple getting married on the beach bluff. It was sooooo romantic. If I ever get married again, I would love to have my wedding there. Can't get any better.

I can definately relate to your sadness! I was also at the Poly from 11/29 - 12/3 and I am having some serious withdrawals. This is my all time favorite resort. My heart is at the Poly!
