bonus fp+ ?

As anyone else seen a random bonus FP show up in their DMX? On 4/30 I have my three chosen FP selections, then it show a green FP + extra pass and a list if a few attractions it is valid for. it is a pre selected time slot, but we apparently can just pick one of the attractions while there. I'm secretly hoping I can get on 7 DMT while there

It's showing in 2 places, on my reservations and also under the FP+ link that shows all my pass for each day of the trip.

The green bar shows in the my reservations page with a big white FP+ then you click on it and it shows the time and says " you may choose from one of these attractions"

In both locations it shows separately from my 3 selected.

I wouldn't worry if it's a glitch. If it's there and you can do something with it, do it before the glitch is sorted out. If it's not a glitch, I see hope

FWIW on my iPhone (but not on the website) I have been making FP+ ressies for Epcot (only) at 79 days out. I'm only doing them day by day as a scheduled Epcot day rolls out so not selecting them for any days we are doing different parks, but they have come up as available day by day for almost a week now. Usually when there are glitches like this, it means changes are afoot.

One thing is, if you used FP+ for a dinner reservation at certain places (e.g., be our guest lunch), I think it does not "count" towards your three total fp+.

Very interesting - I'll have to keep checking back in to see if they offer me anything. We are first time visitors and are staying @ Art of Animation, so we're only "value" resort guests. I'd heard rumors that Disney might offer more FP+ to those in more expensive onsite resorts (not sure if that applies to you). Good for you anyway!

We are at POR this time, I think AoA should be a moderate, especially since discounts don't usually apply.

Well the early start doesn't solve my problems with Epcot, lol. It just means those days are ones I don't have to worry about when my 60 rolls around, but Epcot is by far the most challenging park for FP's. We only want the headliners. The Tier 2 .... well we fill those in as we feel like it so it's a tough one.

I was able to book my FP+ earlier than 60 days as well, but not as early as you and I was able to select them for the entire length of our trip. I did it on their website. I haven't checked on the app yet. I spent several hours sorting out our FP+s so my hope is that even though it's early that the FP+ selections I've made sticks. I really don't want to have to do it again. No extra FP+ pixie dust though.

Even though I spent a few hours on it, I dare say, I really liked what they at least attempt to do when it comes to planning FP+. It seems their system is designed to try to keep you in one general location of the park before sending you off to another part so you don't end up zig zagging through the park to get to your FP+ rides. That, I really do like and for the most part, it seems to work well for our plans with the exception of HS due to all the shows we want to see and ADR.

I was able to do the same things. I went to the Fast Pass + page, and at the bottom, I clicked on the link that says "Make Suggestions". It was only for Epcot, but it was enlightening to be able to get on the system early to see how it works.

Yes, mine is also only for Epcot and it sounds like it is showing the same options as yours. I first made my three reservations for our arrival day, although I canceled them as we aren't going to Epcot, but like you, I just wanted to get a feel for how it worked. I also noticed that not all the attractions seem to be there (?) Character Spot and Maelstrom don't display as Tier 1 options, although it's not a problem to us, I did notice.

My 60 days starts on Wednesday, but I just checked and was able to set up my Epcot day. Which is the 3 rd day of my trip. Hopefully it will hold because I was able to get the attractions and the times I was hoping for and I agree it was nice to be able to see how the system works before Wednesday... As I will be trying to get it done in the morning before I go to work.

I saw it and tried to select one of the things but it won't let me?
I was going to wait until closer to my trip to try and figure it out.

For those of you that got the bonus FP+ - can you tell me what your other Fastpasses are for that day? I have heard on another thread about someone's character FP (Rapunzel maybe?) getting canceled or switched, so they got an extra FP for the trouble. Have you noticed that anything changed about your existing Fastpasses for that day?
